Linda was a bit confused: “One step left? Which step? Don’t we already have the evidence now?”
“Yes, we do have the evidence. But I want to make sure everything is foolproof.”
As Joanna spoke, she dialed a number.
Rebecca’s phone number had been obtained from Yannick Luther.
The evidence she had in her hands was indeed almost enough now.
However, to prevent Rebecca from quibbling and pushing all the responsibility onto soone else, she needed to make a phone call to her.
As long as she could locate Rebecca through this call and obtain her IP address, any excuses she made later would be useless.

Joanna made a quiet gesture to Linda and Nina, waiting patiently.
After about three or four rings, the phone was answered.
“Hello, who is this?” Rebecca’s voice ca from the phone. She sounded cold, probably because she was in a bad mood.
“Rebecca, it’s .” Joanna did not play guessing gas with her, and said directly, “I’m Joanna.”
At least ten seconds of silence.
If Joanna hadn’t glanced at the phone’s screen, which still showed an ongoing call, she would have thought that Rebecca had hung up on her.
“So it’s you,” Rebecca’s voice finally rang again, this ti sounding sowhat bitter, “Joanna, what are you calling for? We don’t seem to have anything to talk about.”
“You know why I’m calling you. It was you who hired the online trolls to sar on the blog, right? Rebecca, I have no grudge against you, why can’t you just let go? What do you really want? Do you think this will ruin ?” Joanna asked.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Rebecca seed a bit angry, her voice sounding sowhat harsh, “Your being slandered on the blog is your own business and has nothing to do with . It just ans you have made many enemies and have offended many people. Everything that is happening to you is your own fault.”
“Don’t pretend to put all the bla on . I don’t like you, but I’m not so desperate to do those things.”
“Really?” Joanna’s lips curled into a sarcastic smile, and she spoke calmly, “Will you swear, then?”
“Swear? What kind of oath should I take?”
“Swear that if you were the one who hired the online trolls to sar on the blog, you would die on the spot, with your body mutilated.”
“Why, why should I!” Rebecca’s volu suddenly rose, as if she was furious, “I say I didn’t do it, so I didn’t do it. You have no right to make swear. Why should I listen to you?”
Joanna listened to her panicky voice and said calmly, “You’re right, I have no right. But if you really didn’t do it, what are you afraid of? After all, you didn’t do it, so swearing won’t harm you, right?”
“Your reaction now makes think that you are guilty.”
“You’re sick! Joanna, if you called just to talk about this, we have nothing to say to each other. I’m very busy. I have no ti to waste with you. If you want to go crazy, find soone else!”
“Du du du…” Rebecca hung up the phone.
Listening to the disconnection tone on the phone, Joanna nonchalantly curled her lips.
“Did you get the last piece of evidence?” Linda asked only after the phone call was over.
Joanna nodded, her eyes half-closed as she smiled, “Yes, I got it.”
