Rebecca had thought that by saying that, Diana would be more restrained.
"Rebecca, that’s why I say you’re stupid, and you still don’t admit it?" Diana laughed, but her laughter was full of disdain. "Do you really think you need to tell about this matter? Do you think that because you’re stupid, everyone else is as stupid as you? Hah, Ashton Heath has long known that I was the one helping the Kelloway family behind the scenes. You’re using this matter to threaten , which is extrely foolish."
Rebecca froze.
Ashton knew it all along?
If Ashton really knew, then the only leverage she had was useless.
She wouldn’t be able to do anything to Diana, would she?
Realizing this, Rebecca felt completely panicked.
She thought she could still control Diana.
But she never expected Diana to be so unscrupulous.
"Since we’ve worked together, I might as well tell you, the few deals that fell through were all because of you. You ssed with Joanna Lawrence, and enraged Ashton Heath, so he had soone snatch those deals from you."
"If it weren’t for your stupidity, none of this would have happened."
"The Kelloway Group had snatched a few deals from the Heath Group before, and there was no reaction from them. Didn’t you think Ashton was easy to deal with? He didn’t target the Kelloway Group, not because he couldn’t do anything, but because the deals you stole were beneath his notice."
"Or maybe it’s because he still cares about the relationship between the Heath family and the Kelloway family."
"Otherwise, with the Kelloway Group’s current situation, it would be a piece of cake for him to take you down. I told you, everything needs to be done slowly and steadily. Your impulsiveness has ruined everything. You touched the one person you shouldn’t have, so now Ashton is starting to target the Kelloway Group, and I’m out of options."
That sentence "you touched the one person you shouldn’t have" imdiately angered Rebecca, and she couldn’t suppress her jealousy. Gritting her teeth, she said, "Why can’t I touch Joanna Lawrence? She’s just a woman, is he going to kill us all for her?"
"And also, didn’t you say you could deal with the Heath Group? How co you can’t do it now? Diana, the more you talk about it, the more it seems like you’re just scared of Ashton. Rebecca had no choice but to threaten Diana.
She gritted her teeth and said fiercely, "Even though you’re more powerful, Closia isn’t your territory. I may not be as good as you, but I have ways of making your days in Closia miserable!"
Now, Rebecca didn’t care about whether she ripped their faces apart or not.
She knew that if Diana abandoned the Kelloway Group, it would probably be over for them.
"Really?" Her threat angered Diana.
Though Diana had previously spoken casually, her tone had beco colder as she spoke: "You can try if you want. I’ll be waiting."
After saying that, Diana hung up.
"Damn it, Diana, you..."
Rebecca’s face darkened as she listened to the disconnected tone.
That damn Diana.
How could she be so arrogant?
