"What are you looking at that’s making you smile so happily?" A familiar scent, mixed with the fresh fragrance of a recent shower, wafted over from behind. In the next instant, Joanna Lawrence was enveloped within a pair of firm arms and pulled into an equally firm and warm embrace.
She leaned comfortably against Ashton Heath’s open chest, chuckled, and held out her cell phone to him, "Look at this, netizens are praising you. They’re asking to tell them what tactics I used to charm you in the first place."
"Did I try to charm you?"
Ashton Heath glanced at her phone, randomly reading a couple of online comnts. A slow smirk occupied his face, "You can tell them your secret was using your beauty to bewitch , causing to fall for you at first sight."
"Did I try to bewitch you with my beauty?"
"Hmm."
"And you fell for at first sight?"
"Hmm."
"So you’re saying you fell for my looks? You want to tell everyone that you’re a shallow man easily swayed by beauty?"
Ashton Heath chuckled lowly.
Joanna Lawrence could feel his warm breath almost touching her cheeks.
Ashton Heath leaned in close to her ear and llowly whispered, "Baby, you’re right. I’m exactly that shallow man, easily blinded by your beauty...in front of you."
"So, you didn’t need to do anything to charm ."
"This is your unique secret thod with , which no one else can learn."
His deep, magnetic voice was intoxicating.
Even Joanna Lawrence couldn’t resist his suave tone.
She felt her ears heating up.
Having a husband who considered charming his wife a daily routine, Joanna Lawrence was worried her weak heart couldn’t take it.
And that suave voice continued to tease her. It was getting lower, more husky, "Baby, I’ve prepared bath water for you earlier. Would you like to take a soak?"
"I added your favorite aroma oils into it."
As the man spoke, a soft touch grazed Joanna’s earlobe. It seed intentional, yet unintentional.
"How about I give you a back scrub?"

This all too familiar routine.
It seems this man is getting restless again.
She took a deep breath to calm herself, suppressing her own heart’s flutters. She held the restless hand that was wrapped around her waist in place, and slowly turned around in his arms. "No need, I can bathe by myself."
"But you hurt your hand, it might not be convenient."
Still holding on to her waist, Ashton Heath responded in a deep tone, "I can use my uninjured hand."
Joanna Lawrence: "..."
This man’s skin was really too thick.
Joanna Lawrence took another deep breath, decisively shook her head, gently unwrapped his hand from her waist, looked up, and clearly rejected him, "Ashton Heath, I can bathe myself."
She saw disappointnt spread across his extrely handso face.
But he didn’t give up and tried again, "Are you sure you don’t need for a back rub?"
"No," Joanna shook her head, "I can do it myself."
"Alright," sighing in disappointnt, Ashton Heath reluctantly responded, "Then you should go. The water will turn cold soon."
