The scene ended.
When the director ca forward and reached Joanna Lawrence, she had not yet fully recovered from the emotions of the previous scene. Tears were still streaming down her eyes, her gaze still held pain, and she sat on the ground, looking lost and disoriented.
“Joanna Lawrence, you played that scene very well.” The director, although strict with his actors, did not skimp on his praise when it was due.
He knew that Joanna’s acting was good when she had auditioned.
But during the audition, she only had a few minutes to perform.
Even though she had impressed him then, he had worried about whether she would be inconsistent in her performances.
After all, she was still a newbie.
Previous works were not many.
The role of Female Lead 2 was quite significant, with many scenes opposite the male and female leads.
