"I’ll say it again, Joanna, you’re not allowed to get close to Frank Parker anymore!" Annie shouted at her, as if trying to claim ownership over him. After her unilateral declaration, she turned and left.
Watching her leave, Joanna’s brows furrowed even more.
She knew Annie too well.
If Annie had set her sights on a man, she would definitely use every trick in the book to win him over.
Just like how she was with David Benington before.
Personal ethics simply didn’t exist to her.
As long as it would achieve her goal, she wouldn’t care about ethics.
So if she truly wanted a man, her success rate was very high.
Back then, David couldn’t resist Annie’s temptations and betrayed her.
Their nine years of love turned into a joke.
Could Frank Parker withstand Annie’s temptations?

The next morning, Joanna prepared to return to Closia.
As she was about to inform Edward Cooper of her departure, she received a call from Linda one second before leaving her room.
"Hello, baby, have you seen today’s hot search news? I think you can continue staying there and participating in the show." Linda didn’t wait for her response and excitedly continued, "Oga Huntley, oh, no, I an Annie Lawrence has been unilaterally terminated by Shone Agency. Shone just released a statent saying that Annie is no longer their artist."
"Then Shone asked the Program Group to remove Annie. So, you don’t have to work with her on the show anymore, and you don’t have to go back to Closia now. What happened to Shone? Why did they suddenly terminate their contract with Annie?"
"They just spent money to promote her for this show, and after only one day, they terminated the contract. Don’t you think it’s strange? No one else at Shone but David should know that she is Annie Lawrence, right?"
Joanna was stunned: "You’re saying Shone unilaterally terminated their contract with Annie?"
"Yeah, I just found out about it too. The termination announcent was released at four in the morning, as if they couldn’t wait to part ways with her."
Joanna: "..."
It was indeed weird.
She suddenly rembered how angry Annie was when she ca to her last night, asking if she had t Frank Parker.
But...
She had never told Frank anything about Annie.
However, Shone’s sudden contract termination announcent in the middle of the night was indeed baffling.
"Did the statent from Shone provide a reason?"
"No, if there were a reason, I wouldn’t find it strange. I was going to ask if you knew any inside information."
"I don’t know either." Joanna said truthfully, "I was quite surprised when you just told about this."
"Anyway, no matter the reason, it’s a good thing for you. And without Shone’s support, it won’t be easy for her to get close to you again."

Joanna hung up the phone.
She thought for a mont and then called Gary White.
After a while, Gary White finally answered the call.
A lazy, slightly hoarse voice ca from the phone, "Joanna, what are you calling your brother for this early? Are you back in Closia?"
"Brother, did you tell anyone else that Oga Huntley is actually Annie Lawrence?"
