Madam White still looked reluctant and sighed, "I think you don’t have to take your work too seriously. You ntioned previously that you planned to have a baby with Ashton Heath. But if you are always away shooting TV series and variety shows, how can you young couple have a child when you spend so little ti together?"

"I know, I know." Joanna Lawrence nodded quickly, "After this shooting, I will take a break. Mom, are you in a hurry to hold a grandchild? Don’t worry, I think maybe you can have one pretty soon."
Madam White was taken aback and imdiately looked at her daughter’s stomach.
"I’m not pregnant." Afraid that Madam White would misunderstand, Joanna hurriedly explained, "I an, maybe Gary’s child will be born before mine."
"Gary?" Madam White frowned, "What are you talking about? He doesn’t even have a woman by his side, so how can there be a child?"
Joanna: "Didn’t Gary tell you?"
"Tell what?" Madam White was puzzled.
"Gary has a girlfriend now. And he’s planning to bring her along when he cos back ho this ti. He told that, barring any accidents, this girl would be my future sister-in-law and your future daughter-in-law."
Madam White was startled, surprised beyond words.
"What did you say?" Her amazent was so great she could barely speak clearly, stamring, "Are you saying Gary has a girlfriend now?"
"Yes," Joanna nodded.
"Is this true?" Madam White still looked incredulous, her eyes filled with shock. "Joanna, are you lying to ? Does Gary really have a girlfriend? And he’s planning to bring her when he cos back ho this ti?"
"It’s true. Mom, why would I lie to you?" Joanna said with a smile, "Anyway, that’s what Gary told . He shouldn’t be lying to , and there’s no reason for him to."
It took Madam White a while to finally seem to believe, and her face gradually showed joy, her eyes lighting up.
She looked extrely delighted, "That’s great! I’ve been worrying about Gary’s marriage for so many years, it’s beco a concern for . I was afraid he wouldn’t want to get married as he got older. If he really brings soone ho, we must treat them well."
"We can’t let them think the White family is difficult to enter or that your dad and I are hard to get along with, scaring them off."
Madam White had been looking forward to a daughter-in-law for so many years, and now finally there was hope. She was both excited and happy, as if encountering great joy.
"Gary’s such a rascal, not telling such a big news. Is he afraid that your dad and I will object?"
Joanna thought for a mont and said, "Maybe he wants to give you a surprise."
"It is a surprise," Madam White’s smile was so wide she couldn’t close her mouth, "After waiting so many years, I’ve finally gotten my wish. I just wonder what kind of person Gary’s girlfriend is. But Gary is so picky; a girl he likes must be good."
