The return to the group after pretty much being given a forcible, yet pleasurable high thanks to Cali doing whatever she damn well pleased was a bit humiliating, especially since it only reignited the flas of lust within thanks to how she had held .
I wanted sothing inside of yet again, and I desperately wanted their warmth to linger and slosh around inside of my womb again for another few hours, but I couldn't find it in to give Cali the thing that she wanted either.
Even though it would help us both, right now I was a bit irate and angry thanks to her actions, sothing she knew since she had just vanished after giving the promise of future deals that could do amazing things for so long as I was willing to pay the price.
What that price would be I had no idea, but I did know what the things she could do for were, and if her power only continued to grow during our ti here then I wouldn't have been surprised to learn that she wanted to offer the ability to create a rather large family within the year.
That I could control my partners completely with my body and that just a look could make soone falter and question their deepest, most secure beliefs while a touch could make them crumble completely.
I didn't doubt that the Arch Fiend had that sort of power waiting for her, but that only made more curious about where such a power ca from, how she could control it, and what it ant for going forwards since I had a morsel of her power within already.
How could I make use of the tattoo above my womb to achieve an iota of those things, and would there be any price I would be willing to pay to empower myself even more than I already was?
That made feel guilty though, but it was also simple to let that guilt go when I accepted that hypotheticals were only that - ideas that might never be - and that I was living in reality with quite a lot of power and influence already.
After all, just a simple hug with Anput had the Begum of a warrior focused nation swooning as she squeezed my waist and nuzzled into my neck when we were in private, whispering about the way a re day apart had made her feel so cold...
Most of that was her own natural grandstanding about nothing in particular just so she could make feel special, sure, but the mont I asked her if even half of that was true I got a real answer, one that was filled with genuine relief that I was back now to be by her side.
But there was a separation to happen again as Anput, Leone, Mom and Lady Fenyras all prepared to depart for a trial dedicated to fire that would give them a major enhancent to their flas alongside a special material that would bond to their magic to create sothing special.
Right away they were gone again, and Leone had little ti to rest - though after consideration of what our previous trial was none of us cared about resting - before she was back on her grind, which was similar to those of us outside as well as we settled in and got back to work too.
Jahi with her training, Draka attempting to learn everything she could, Lilith drifting around to do whatever else needed to be done whilst also being nosey and organizing and taking care of all of the herbs.
It was only a handful of hours that remained before the sun set, and during that ti we needed to make use of the natural light before turning in for the night since that was when the monsters got a little more active, and any unnecessary actions could draw them up the chain bridges.
For now we could ignore them, yes, but I wasn't holding out hopes that we were completely safe up here, not with how wacky this place was already; during that ti though I was left to ponder over the offer of Cali and how it could change everything, while also reorienting my mind back to normalcy now that we were back.

Lilith did as Lilith does, fluttering around the camp and talking to whover had the most available brain capacity so that she could impart her mysterious, shrouded wisdom or so that she could just amuse herself to stave off the boredom, and 'sadly' for I just so happened to be one of her more preferred targets.
"Our purpose is one that is multifaceted, so of course it feels like there is more to do. Our goal isn't a singular object or thing, it's a collection of them. Preparations need to be made to ensure more and more of the goal is achieved, and to do so I need peace."

She let out that annoying hum that let know she wasn't going anywhere, the black skinned Demoness pacing around slowly before plopping down onto the grass as she asked "Hey, that Arch Fiend of yours is getting stronger too, right?"
That gave a mont of pause, though as I went to give her a non answer the Arch Fiend in question popped into existence and answered for , giving the Demoness a grin as she tossed herself onto my back to rest, much to my warm irritation.
"Do you even really need to ask that, Lili girl~?"
Instead of being annoyed at being called sothing so intimate by soone she didn't know, Lilith grinned back and said "Sotis you just have to hear it to believe it~!", which sent them both into a fit of laughter that - sadly - drew a small smile to my lips.
