Kat PoV
The feeling of being transported from one place to another so suddenly was just as jarring as it had been the first ten tis, but I had managed to accumulate a bit of a resistance to it as I was warped from my comfortable spot on the sand over to... another spot on so sand.
This ti though there were three others standing around the brazier with , and I was imdiately drawn into a warm hug as the red skinned Vampire dragged into her arms, her fangs finding their way into my neck as she just took a bite right away.
I let her do as she pleased, though when she got to sucking up my blood and had clearly entered the 'zone' of feeding until she was satiated I began to push her away, not wanting to be down on so blood going into the next part of this Trial.
Her soft hiss as I did that was amusing, and even as I gave her a pat on the cheek and a sultry promise for later she just kept her hands where they were and ran that long tongue over her dark red lips, the hunger still very much there.
"So... how many waves did everyone manage to go through?"
Mom and Draka were looking at Leone and I with a conflicted yet bemused gleam in their eyes, though the mont I ntioned the waves we had gone through both of them turned towards one another as they waited for the other to answer.
"I stopped at eleven thanks to that damn horde of heavily mutated Drakes. A sea of scales hardened by droves of mana within each beast is just... it's too much for just to deal with, especially without any additional preparation."
Hearing that Mom had gone through eleven whole waves - stopping just short of the final one - was rather surprising, though at the sa ti I expected her to have done sothing like that, so my surprise was short lived.
For rely a mont as Leone clicked her tongue and said "Then I should have tried that eleventh wave... I stopped at the tenth and decided to play it safe. The rewards were good enough for to stop, but now... what was the reward for the eleventh?", the Vampire surprising once more as she admitted to going for ten waves.
To give her answer the Demoness grinned at us all and raised her hand, palm facing the sky as she let her mana trickle out of her skin, illuminating the area around us with a cool cerulean glow; the blue flas lapping at her hand were proof of the extraordinary reward she had achieved, and that caused Leone to grit her teeth as she stared at the flas with so anger.
"Um... I stopped at six... if anyone was still curious..."
Draka's voice cut through the haze in my mind, the embarrassnt that clung to each word making smile wryly as I said "That's still rather good. Might have been for the best too since seven and eight were rather tough; I stopped at eight, after that Wyvern made from mana. Took a lot out of to beat it..."
Leone shifted her attention back to at that, but she wasn't able to say anything as the brazier suddenly burst into fla, those twelve rods standing empty just as they had before, but now the radius that the brazier illuminated was much wider... which ant we had more space to work with, and that ant we were probably dealing with a lot more enemies.

Jahi PoV
Wiping the sweat from my brow, I welcod the breeze that swept across our camp thanks to the Demoness weaving her magic nearby, letting cool off faster and start my recovery process in comfort as I took a seat and began to unwind my muscles.
Nearby, the grey skinned Demon Wolf continued to press a giant rod of tal into the air, doing her workout for the third hour in a row and not giving herself any ti to rest at all as she just kept going, making feel a little ashad that I couldn't do what she was doing.
Like she could sense that, the Demon Wolf snickered and said "Don't feel too bad, little Demoness. It took a century to get to this peak of mine, and maintaining it is hard, hard work. But the rewards of such a peak... well... you know one facet of my rewards, don't you~!"
She just couldn't ever seem to help herself as she reminded of the Trial she and Kat had gone into together, and that just irked to no end even though nothing had happened; it was the thought that sothing could have happened that pissed off, and she knew that, hence why she was always badgering about it now.
"I'm working towards it. I've barely had a handful of years to do anything at all, Lady Fenyras, so I'd say I've made damn good progress."
I made her click her tongue as she murmured "Dumb, stupid second generation brats... so spoiled...", though before she could say that one line I beat her to it, grinning as I jokingly said "Back in your day you didn't have what I have, right~?" and making her growl as she tossed the weight to the side.
"No, I didn't, and back then I had to-"
"Don't even lie to yourself, Fenyras. You had plenty back then that even Jahi doesn't have today. Different tis are always going to have different training regins and materials. If you want to keep playing that card though..."
The older Demoness sauntered over and stared down at the sweaty Demon Wolf, smirking at her as she waited for her to rise to the challenge, though when Lady Fenyras just growled and retrieved her weight Lilith turned to instead.
"And don't antagonize her, hm? Just focus on working out instead, before you lose so of that definition that gives you an edge..."
She walked away again with a wink, and I had to watch her go before looking down at myself as I wondered what she ant, only to have my lip curl a little when I noticed the Demon Wolf smirking at knowingly as she resud her benchpress.
