My Servant System Chapter 1383 - 1382: Making The Most Of It

Kat PoV

"You ever think about how ti has seemingly lost all aning for us in here? I an, we spend days inside of these Trials just to co out and realize only a few hours - maybe a single day - has actually passed, so our real ti spent is like... two weeks while in actuality we have lived for months."

Anput lounged on her newly constructed cot and stared up at the tent’s ’ceiling’ as she continued to bask in the changes that ca from that powder, doing as Leone suggested and just laying down and letting everything work at its own pace.

I was in the sa position as her, though where she had her cot I was just sprawled out amongst all of the furs we had accumulated, lost to their fluffiness and going through the sa changes she was as we got stronger through yet another substance.

"It is just one of those things that requires far too much thought for so little gain. Understanding the difference in ti flow and how it affects us is just sothing that isn’t worth the effort; just accepting it as it is makes everything easy to deal with."

"Psh... you’re no fun."

"I never said I didn’t think about it, you dolt."

The shifting of our bones from their previous weak selves to this stronger version wasn’t as painful as I had thought it would be, and although the outer side of our bones were thickening and hardening we were also freshening up the porous insides while improving the marrow too.

It was just a dull ache throughout the entire body that could be tuned out with just a little bit of effort, especially given our experience with pain and how to deal with it; I imagine that if I had done this when I first arrived I would be screaming and rolling around on the ground like I was so dented hell creature, so... yeah...

"Well, it sounded like that’s what you ant. I guess what I’m saying though is we’ve been here for a long ti, huh? Did it feel longer than it actually was? Has everything been worth it? I know I think its been almost ideal, but... what about you?"

"Bloodline improvents, all these materials, the bracelets that have an entire storage room inside of them, this bone improvent powder that we have so more of... It’s been more than worth it, and while the ti away from ho sucks, how else are we going to get stronger and get a better foundation for later in life?"

My mate let out a slight huff as she turned to give a half glare, making smirk at her as I continued to poke so of her buttons whenever I answered her questions; it was beyond entertaining for to do, and knowing that she couldn’t ’retaliate’ as of current made it even better.

"Why do you have to have such a sharp tongue, Kat? Hmph... Just you wait..."

That only made my smirk widen as I thought I was going to get what I wanted - a harder, more passionate session after this was all over, where she properly ’disciplined’ - only for it to fade as Leone entered the tent, giving my mate the idea I didn’t want her to have.

"Hey Leone~! You said I have around... what, maybe ten minutes before I can be active, right? And Kat has about thirty~?"

Our lover imdiately caught on since Anput was licking her lips, and although she blushed she still nodded, giving Anput the confirmation she needed and making pout as I hoped my mate would reconsider.

"Well, make sure you are back here in ten minutes, Princess dearest~! Anyways, I think I have a few other Trials in mind for us soon. Ones that we need to get to before we leave, and by we I an the entire group.

We have to get that one that gives the random bloodline upgrades now, that’s for sure, and we also need to boost Draka’s strength as much as possible so that she can hit that Trial that has to do with Dragons."

Even though I was a little ’sad’ that she was going to ’punish’ in a few minutes, I still used this ti to go over the Trials that were important so that I knew soone else knew they were important as well... and so that I didn’t forget.

"There’s the Ice one as well that needs to be done, and we should comb through the list again to see if there are more that focus on magic; Leone should do those ones so that she can benefit so more from this. That’ll help keep the ’floor’ even amongst us all."

"You don’t need to worry about getting jealous or worried that you all are going to outgrow . There is still so much I need to learn about myself to begin with that any more improvents aren’t needed, so..."

And this was where I got to see the differences between the two since Anput snickered at the sincere Vampire, confusing her only to then make her blush even more as she was given a heavy dose of both embarrassnt and amusent.

"Look at the special~ Princess over here~! Flexing that unknown bloodline and insane magical prowess she was just born with~! Even with our rewards aiding us we are still~ unworthy of standing beside her as equals, Kat~! Woe~! Woe is us~!"

I couldn’t help it as I let out a laugh, making Leone pout now as she looked between us both with a hint of indignation at her words, though a few monts later she laughed as well since it was just comical how Anput phrased that.

We made the most of those ten minutes together before everything imdiately began to shift as Anput was able to move, and as soon as that happened things began to get hotter and heavier imdiately, with having to endure twenty minutes of ’torture’ all of the comnts I made in passing.
