The quiet grunt of relief that I let out as I stretched beside the campfire caught the attention of soone I wasn't really wanting to be around, and yet she was very much not taking that sort of hint.

"You make so really~ nice sounds~!"

Imdiately I growled before going completely silent after her words registered in my mind, but that was more than enough to set the Arch Fiend into a fit of giggles as she drifted ever closer, spreading that sweet scent of hers all over the campsite and leaving in that predicant of wanting to just run away... but also wanting to pull her closer and press my nose against her neck to get an even better whiff.

It was infuriating, but what made it worse - and what made angrier - was how she was able to seemingly read my mind and understand that she had that effect on , and even with the contract that she had made with Kat she still wanted to play around with .

"You know there's another part of where that scent is thicker and stronger, right~?"

The seductive drawl to her words as she inched closer was making want to lash out, to strike her and push her away so that I could clear my head and not be subjected to these terrible and dangerous thoughts.

Sadly that would be suicide, and yet there was nothing more that I wanted to do right now then that... so I just clenched my fists and stared at the Arch Fiend silently, waiting for her to say whatever it was that she wanted to say so that I could leave without worrying about her following .

"Aw... that's no fun..! Hmph... you're all getting smarter and more restrained, though... it is nice to know that I still have it~! Sucks that I can't lay a finger on you in that way, but... the teasing is very~ worth it~!"

"What do you want..?"

Each word that ca from felt like I was biting tal; unpleasant, sowhat painful and definitely not sothing I wanted to be doing, but it apparently needed to be done since she wasn't going to speak without a prompt.

"Nothing much~! Just thought I'd co get a feel for what my lovely~ contractee's mate thought of this place~! All these choices, all those rewards~! Isn't this place just great~?"

To say I was confused by the Arch Fiend would be an understatent, and after staring at her for a few seconds to confirm that that was what she was really asking I just stood up, dusted myself off and turned towards the tent, leaving her at the fire.

"Hey! That's rude! So rude!"

Appearing right in front of with a stern expression, Sla'Caligo jabbed her finger at and tried to scold for not answering her, but all I could think of was how... well, two thoughts crossed my mind; the first was entirely instinctual, and it was the imdiate flush of arousal and yearning I had for a woman like this to be the Mother of my children.

The knowledge that having soone with a personality like 'this' - soone who was willing to challenge and hold 'accountable' - would work well as a mate and as a parent, and of course right now I was thinking mainly about the mate part as I got to see her juicy curves up close.

The second thought that crossed my mind was vocalized though, and it was done before I really even realized it was making its way out of my mouth; seeing Sla'Caligo like this just made think "You really aren't as scary as my parents are... not when you're like this.", and that made her blink a few tis as she beca just as confused as I was.

Taking that as an advantage, I brushed past her and said "My Mother was terrifying whenever she scolded , and Mom... well, she was quiet but the threat was there. Anyways, yeah, I'mma go take a nap.", making my way for the tent and wanting to leave this behind .

Of course she wasn't going to remain behind , and the mont I slipped inside the tent and began to get comfortable she appeared again, pouting and staring at like she was so child I had just spoiled the fun of.

"Don't 'what?' ! You can't just say that and then leave?! Besides, I was being nice! You were bored, I'm bored, and I want to know if you have noticed anything off about this place!"

At this point we were just walking in circles around whatever it was that she wanted to discuss, so I decided to cut to the chase even as I tossed off my shirt and threw myself into the pile of furs that still slt a little like Kat...

"Sothing off about it? Like what? The fact it's in so weird ti bubble thing? Or that there are these really nifty doors that lead us to fun challenges that give cool rewards? Perhaps the fact that this place is apparently a 'Stairway' to another world? What's off about this place?"

Now it was her turn to growl, but seeing the pink skinned babe try and stomp her feet while she was floating in the air just made her look adorable instead of angry, though that thought made want to throw up... especially since that pout turned into a smirk imdiately.

"I'll play nice and ignore that~! Ahem... Specifically I was wondering about the last part. Without Kat here and that old hag being gone I don't really have anyone I want to bounce ideas off of, and even though I could try it with the Vampire I don't really want to because... she's hot like her Mom."

I just raised my brow at her as she said that, making her smirk widen even as she said "I don't technically an it like that but she is a whole damn snack, isn't she~? No, I an the heat she radiates kinda makes ache a little in a not so good way. Like a wound that's not fully healed."

"Alright, brushing past that why would you co to to discuss these things? I don't really care about them unless they have a direct impact on , and with Kat not wanting to worry about the whole 'Ascension' thing my decision is made. No ascending is happening here."
