"Look at what we got~! Isn’t this nifty~?"

Anput seed to lean far too much into her canine blood since whenever she got excited she always was rubbing against us and wagging her tail just like a puppy, though I had to admit that I always found this rather endearing.

My mate was always so excited to show off yet another material that would potentially maybe kinda sorta find its way into so random thing that she wanted to forge either a day from now or in the far flung future, and that excitent was always infectious.

"Its’s... another material..! Congratulations..?"

I tried to be supportive of it, but after seeing dozens of different rocks and tals I was sort of losing my ability to be fascinated by these things she was so excited about, and just like a child she didn’t seem to really care since she was the one who loved all of them.

Giving her a hug and looking towards Jahi next, I saw my absolute stud of a Demoness lift up a vial filled with so murky green liquid, the strained smile on her face letting know that her reward wasn’t as flashy or fascinating as Anput’s.

It might have been specific to her race but it looked disgusting and it likely was sothing like the blood that we had gotten, aning it was an upgrade but not a flashy or impressive upgrade.

It was an upgrade nonetheless though, so she stowed it away and joined in on the hug just because she could... and obviously because she wanted sothing from it, which she got imdiately as she slid her hand down low and grabbed it directly.

Just rolling my eyes and letting her do as she pleased, I turned towards Leone and raised a brow at her too since it was clear she had sothing to say as well, though whether it was sothing she learned or sothing she wanted I didn’t know.

"There aren’t that many more Trials that we have written down on our lists, so if we wanted to we could leave here earlier than we discussed..? Though that would be another group decision."

"Mm... I was growing tired of this place as well, but I still do want to take one last look around to see if there is... anything at all available to us. If we can get another set of these bracelets that would be beyond incredible, and any of those bloodline arrays would be absolute perfection."

Snuggling against Jahi’s chest and nodding, I added "Another look around this city couldn’t be that bad, and honestly... if we can just find one or two more neat little things it’ll be worth it. Then we take a day to rest up before we march back ho and settle down for a little while."

"If the Fiends let you do so~!"

Joining in on the ground hug, Cali rubbed her cheek against mine before giggling as she was growled at by Anput, surprisingly unlatching from and drifting into the air lazily as she gave the Jackalkin so space.

"Rember, my brethren are still awakening, albeit slowly... so don’t get too comfortable and expectant of peace, alright? Otherwise sothing bad might happen..."

"You always just... hah..."

Letting out a long sigh and hugging us tighter, Jahi glared at the Arch Fiend before looking back at Leone as she asked "Maybe we stay the full week then, no?", which got her a wry smile as the Vampire just shrugged in reply.

"We just got this disgusting stinky liquid that apparently amplifies so of the power in our blood, but to it just looks like poison."

The Demon Wolf was frustrated by her reward, sothing that didn’t seem to bother Lilith at all since the older Demoness was already in the process of drinking hers, doing her best to ignore the stench and its taste.

Leaving her be and trying to ignore the Demon Wolf as she paced around, I stretched out beside the fire and just relaxed, knowing that I was going to have to head out again soti soon and finding myself in that state where I was just... feeling whatever.

I wasn’t excited to get to a new battle nor was I too tired to continue forwards; I was just... neutral about it, which I suppose was telling considering we had been here for Gods know how long and I sorely missed my wives and daughters.

Knowing that my eldest was able to ’dine’ freely every single ti she was out of a Trial definitely didn’t help, and having to hear about it from the Demon Wolf didn’t really help either since she was clearly hungering after my daughter in law as well.

"I really want to remain here, but every single ti that I have to co back to this camp and listen to them go at it makes want to head ho right this minute... Pros and cons, right?"

She seed to enjoy saying that in front of whenever she could since she wanted to get a rise out of , but right now I was keen on keeping my emotions to myself lest I say or do sothing stupid that makes the rest of this trip all the more irritating.

Besides, she wasn’t entirely wrong even if I knew that she was insinuating that she wanted to have Kat, so I just ignored it and instead focused on the changes that the older Demoness was going through, wondering if the drug she took was worth it or not.

It really did look absolutely horrid, and the look on her face only made it even more clear that the liquid tasted as bad as it looked... which didn’t make that confident about the rewards going forwards if they were going to be like this, though it wasn’t like there were that many left for us to get.

At least when it ca to the amount of Trials that we were willing to complete; otherwise there were definitely a few out there that were providing a large amount of goodies upon completion, which were the Trials I wanted to focus on if I was given the choice.
