The mont that Anput heard our voices - even though we were trying to remain relatively quiet, sothing that just happened ’naturally’ for since my throat was still raw - she imdiately stirred, shifting around a few tis on Jahi’s lap before springing up like nothing had happened.
Even though she was being warned many a ti that she needed to keep things at a slow pace thanks to her own curved belly, the Jackalkin continued to exist with that sa abundance of energy as always, sothing that was likely never going to go away for as long as she lived.
Bouncing over to and reaching over to gently cup my face, my mate gave a wide, happy grin as she murmured "Look at you... and look at what you’ve brought into the world~! Our pups~! Our five beautiful, gorgeous pups~!", causing to smile back tiredly as I just nodded.
"They’re going to be sleeping for a little while now, but don’t count on them being asleep for long periods of ti. Sadly babies don’t seem to enjoy uninterrupted sleep like us... they take it in hour or so long incrents before being awake and becoming little hellions for a few minutes."
Mother gave a soft smile and patted my head before adding "I’ll be nearby, so if you need just send soone over. I... am certainly not as exhausted as you, but seeing you like that has drained a bit.", to which I nodded and leaned into her hand.
"Thank you, Mother..."
She nodded a few tis and just stared at and my pups before retreating from the room, giving us so privacy and allowing Anput to crawl onto the bed beside before she pulled my head onto her shoulder.
"They are absolutely adorable..."
I humd in agreent and looked down at the five small bundles of fluff draped over my bare body, each of them sleeping soundly and completely unbothered by their Mom’s murmurs or their Mother’s slight shifting.
"We need to na them, starting from the eldest here."
Gently tapping the head of the firstborn pup, Anput smiled warmly and kept quiet, staring at as she waited for to suggest sothing; that pressure that was laid upon my shoulders felt heavier than any I had ever had to bear in either of my lives, and honestly... it was ’worse’ than the pressure in combat, by like... a mile...
So for a few monts I just admired the living being that had co out of , taking in the fluffy ears that twitched every single ti Anput tapped its head as well as how she scrunched her nose and rubbed her cheek against my breast just to ’escape’ her Mom.
Staring at her for a few monts, I pursed my lips and mulled over so nas, realizing this was going to be way harder since this wasn’t just a one off thing; this would be this pup’s na for the rest of her life, and it needed to suit her during all of these long, prosperous and peaceful years.
It was during that silent contemplation that I rembered there was more than just Anput and I in here, and when I turned towards the Demoness sitting nearby I couldn’t help but feel a pang in my heart as she looked back at with a complicated gleam in her athyst eyes.
She was obviously happy for and ecstatic on her own, but there was a part of her - sothing that I could feel even without the Soul Bond between us - that was jealous of what she saw, and it was clear she was currently grappling with that.
Anput being pregnant probably didn’t help since it was just a reminder that sohow she was the only futanari here that couldn’t knock soone up, but after a few monts - and after realizing I was staring at her - Jahi took a breath and smiled, leaning back and clasping her hands as she continued to watch us.
Feeling a little bit of the pressure shift off of my shoulders, I let out a sigh before leaning back into the pillow and idly admiring Anput’s jawline, realizing - as always - that I had lucked out so very much with who I managed to get with in this life.
Such a handso and charismatic mate, alongside a beautiful and powerful Vampire that was also a Princess, both of whom were tied up together - along with - to an even more handso and powerful Demoness that dominated any room she walked into.
I couldn’t help but admire the futanari beside , but rembering that I needed to be thinking of so nas for our first litter of adorable pups helped imnsely as I pursed my lips and looked down at them once more.
With light - yet warm - brown skin, dark black hair and fur, she looked - as did the others - far more like her Mom than she did , and although I wanted to keep their nas culturally similar to their Mom’s because of that I eventually settled on "Camilla. Soft, beautiful and sweet."
"Little Camilla... Camy, Cam, Milly... It definitely works~! Then this one, the second one... hmm..."
Pursing her lips this ti, Anput stared at the ceiling for a mont before she leaned over and asked "How about Samara? Since she ca out with a bit of a scream to her, she might just end up being the guardian of the pack.", to which I nodded as I quietly repeated that na a few tis.
Camilla and Samara were both a tad bit larger than the others, and because of that I humd quietly before looking towards the pup that Anput told was the third; where her two elder sisters were larger, this one was lean and had a tuft of auburn on one ear and black on the other, which made her stand out quite a bit.
The eldest was pure black, the second was pure auburn, and now the third was a split down the middle... it made things relatively easy on , I had to admit, and keeping with my own ’the’ I murmured "Nicoletta...", earning another nod from my mate.
The fourth was a small pup that had a speckled tail that Anput showed , the auburn bits standing out against her black fur rather nicely, though I don’t think it had anything to do with "Zariah."
And then the last was curled up atop my chest peacefully, her ears twitching occasionally as she heard our voices, but she never once awoke nor did she stir when I leaned down and kissed her fluffy head.
"Then you shall be... hmm... as the smallest, the youngest... perhaps you’ll end up being the ’brightest’ of the bunch, hm~? Our little star, Astra."
