"Why couldn’t mine co like yours had, huh? Goddess above this is irritating..."
Anput’s continuous whining about having to actually be pregnant for the full nine months was never going to lose its luster for , because every single ti she whined she always looked so damn adorable... and it reminded that I got to have my soft mate for a lot longer too.
Poking her belly and ignoring her grumblings, I smiled at her and said "You should feel blessed though~! Only the one is going to co out of you and not five. That was quite the ordeal, just so you know.", though all that earned was even more grumbling.
She gave a sowhat exasperated - and even a tad irritated - look as she asked "And yet whenever I ask you imdiately tell that yes, you want to have another litter. It couldn’t have been that bad, now could it?"
"Anput, it was horrible. The experience itself was utterly dreadful. The result of having to push five entire bundles of agony and suffering out of my torn, aching, devasted and very much not prepared - ntally, anyways - vagina was that I got five bundles of fluff and joy that I love with all my heart."
"Yeah, and you’ve told many tis now that you want to put another five inside of you."
Her indignant response made chuckle as I just shrugged and said "You’ll understand in a few months, I promise. Now, let just say that I am still curious as to what you’re going to do about...", trailing off as I leaned closer and gently traced circles on her bare belly.
"About what? About still being pissed I can’t knock you up again? About having to handle the constant battle between Mother and Mother Julie? Or about the fact that I am apparently not going to be permitted to drink wine anyti in the near future? Distant future as well?"
A chuckle escaped my lips before I could contain it, and it made my mate’s obsidian eyes darken with anger - yet it was sowhat offset when she laughed with a mont later - as I tried to figure out what to say.
"I was more so thinking about what you’re going to do when a little Vampire baby pops out instead of a pup, or if the Empress’ unique blood decides it wants to skip a generation and sohow manifest inside of you."
That made her purse her lips as she thought about it, but like many things with my mate she just shrugged and replied "Dunno. I guess I’ll just have to figure it out when it happens. If its a little blood sucking baby then I might just toss it on over to you; Leone already swears on your blood anyways, so why not, y’know?"
The dry look I gave her made her snicker as she continued "I’m just joking~! Leone already told that if she’s a Vampire she’ll handle the blood stuff. Apparently that’s just what they do as a race? The Vampire parent drinks soone else’s blood - usually the other parent - and then lets the baby drink from them... I dunno."
Sitting up and yawning, Anput reached over and pulled closer as she murmured "Hey, listen, not to be ungrateful or anything but unless you’re offering to lather up with milk and give the stroking of a lifeti, I’d like so alone ti just to nap. It’s been a bit of a day..."
Another dry look followed by getting up made my mate smile, and after I threw a blanket at her face she just cackled before waving goodbye as I left her in the bedroom, knowing that this was just the beginning of the trials that these next few months were going to bring.
Downstairs Leone was sitting with Mother helping to watch the five pups, so I took the opportunity to take a walk down into the city for the first ti in... quite a long ti, really; it wasn’t actually my first ti in the city post birth, but every other ti down had been for business and nothing more, so I wasn’t counting them.
My Lounge was doing well, albeit the reduced workdays and whatnot was causing my employees to beco a tad lazy, but stopping by every week to figure out the numbers and approve the schedule kept them in check.
Cali was actually pestering about finding a manager and letting the place be operated full ti, and I had half a mind to make her do that since she was being so irritating, but the thought of my ever present Arch Fiend getting a job...
That was just odd.
Shaking my head to rid myself of such a weird thought - one that involved Cali in a strict business suit handling a clipboard as she supervised a sex club - I made my way towards the office that Jahi occupied down in the city, the one where she was accessible to all kinds of people during her ti here.
The queue was long and the amount of greetings I got was nurous, with almost everyone recognizing since we were still operating with mostly the initial population; we had a few spikes here or there of people, but nothing major just yet.
Anyways, I pushed open the office doors and waited at the side as Jahi listened to an Elven man describe the issue with the enchanted bricks that we needed for the construction of the walls, a problem that was solved almost imdiately when Jahi just approved the larger budget that was needed.
When he left and the Demoness finished jotting down the new numbers, I walked around her desk and leaned against it, watching her for a mont and waiting for her to finally look up at ; the mont she did her eyes flashed gold for a mont, and I felt my lips curling into a smile as I felt the desire coiling up inside of her.
"How can I help you, Kat?"
She kept her voice controlled and her emotions steady, causing my smile to widen as I reached over and gently patted her cheek, murmuring "Just wanted to co check on my wife and remind her that the other two are back at ho, waiting for you..."
"I have work..."
The attempt to explain herself sounded weak, and both of us just stared at one another before I glanced at the clock and said "It’s been twelve hours, my love. If you make it fifteen I shall co back down here with knives, a bottle of that pseudo wine, and a few particularly curious little pups that all seem to be curious about what it is that their Mother enjoys the most."
Her lips slowly curled into a smile as well at that, the half baked threat amusing her greatly while a glance at the clock made her sigh as she nodded, though not before she asked "But how is that a threat to , Kat? That just sounds like a very good night..."
"Oh, I don’t think it’d be fun for you. For , yes, but not for you. I haven’t cut sothing in a long ti... might end up cutting sothing important on ’accident’. Fifteen maximum. Any longer and I might just slip."
With the warning delivered I gave her a kiss, smacked her roaming hand away and promptly sauntered out, letting her know exactly what it was that she was missing out on and heading on back ho, to where my pups were.
Months might have made them larger but they were still the exact sa even with the passage of ti, and Mother had ’warned’ that that was likely to remain the sa, so I was a bit determined to enjoy them while they were still soft little fluffballs that I could pick up with a single hand... gently, anyways.
