My soft hiss only made Anput chuckle as she shrugged her shoulders, looking as unbothered as she always did despite informing that she was thinking about handing real weapons over to our pups and letting them whack so training dummies.
Ti was losing all aning to , yes, but that didn’t an I had lost all of my sense completely, especially not to the point that I would consider handing over real weaponry to a bunch of toddlers, even if they were getting to be a bit too big for that title.
And yet it would seem that everyone else had lost their sanity in regards to this since Mom, Mother, Jahi, Anput, Lady Kio and even Leone were on board with this idea, with so of them being a bit more enthusiastic about it than others.
"Well, you can’t exactly say that this is insane when both Jahi and I started so basic practice around their age. I an, we turned out rather well, haven’t we?"
She said that with a teasing edge that made it all too easy for to raise a brow and dryly reply "Have you though?", making both my mate and my soul bound lover stare at with raised brows and wry smiles.
"And it isn’t like I’m suggesting we let them practice on their own with actual weapons, Kat. I suggested blunted tal weaponry tailored for their sizes so that they can begin developing their muscles and reflexes appropriately."
"Katherine, you were playing with knives at this age as well, even though I tried many a ti to stop you. Also... with how rough they already are ’playing’ with one another, is this truly that much of a leap at all?"
Having Anput and then my own Mother attempt to convince that this was right only made want to dig my heels in even more, but just thinking about the flying kick that Nicoletta delivered to Camilla followed by the very precise punch Samara used in retaliation to Camilla being... well, Camilla.
I was also coming to realize that my eldest was very good at working the rest of her sisters up into a bit of a frenzy...
"That doesn’t change much!"
Even to myself though that sounded weak, and having Mom chuckle as she added "But it does, Kat, because now you’re being hypocritical~!", earning herself a glare that she didn’t care about one bit.
"Kat, really, they’ll be fine because we’ll be right there with them. Nothing crazy, no attempts to hit one another, nothing more than just the basics of the basics. Besides... we really can’t keep relying on them scrapping to finally get so peace in the house. If they train against dummies, no one gets hurt and we get peace."
Jahi’s attempt to convince was a bit more nuanced than the others had been for the simple fact that my Demoness wife knew exactly what I needed; I needed them safe, I needed them tired, and I needed more than five minutes of silence.
I also needed her to pound into oblivion yet again, and having more than just five minutes ant more ti for to spend beneath her as we tried and tried for a child, hoping and praying that this ti would finally be the one that bore fruit.
Just a week or three removed from praying to Reincantra in the closet and getting a healthy dose of love then and there obviously wasn’t going to be enough ti to have sothing happen, but we were hopeful anyways...
And having more ti would an a better chance of becoming pregnant again, so...
"Then that ans we ALL need to be there! You three aren’t going to skirt around this at all!"
Leone just smiled at as she stepped up and patted my hand, saying "They’ll be watched closely and given everything they need to stay safe, Kat, just like we were. Besides, is this really going to be more dangerous than what they do now?" and calming down a bit more.
I really wanted to say that it was simply because they were going to have weapons in their hands now, but the real answer was that this was honestly sohow safer than what they had been doing, and that... well, it made feel guilty.
"Gabrielle is going to be joining them as well, albeit with sothing made from wood since she’s still a bit younger. All of the babies getting worn out at the sa ti... it’ll be good for them, Kat, and good for us too~!"
Mother gently rubbed my shoulders as she said "It’ll be good for all of us, Kat, because as rambunctiously adorable as your pups are, all of us have other responsibilities... aning other children...", reminding that no one here was ’free’ from that ’burden’.
Jahi technically was, but that definitely didn’t count since she was tied to us the sa way we were tied to her, so she had to accept that all six children were also her children even if their blood wasn’t the sa.
"Mhm~! Speaking of, is it simply because of them being Demoness and Elf that they don’t have the sa rate of growth?"
Mother looked towards Anput and smiled as she answered "They’ll be smaller for a little bit longer, but not by that much more. If anything Lakshmi might be bigger than Camilla, though she isn’t speaking completely just yet. Alessandra though... it’ll be a little longer for her since she’s an Elf."
"All of this is so confusing..."
My grumble just made Mother chuckle as she rested her cheek against mine, forcing to look towards the two Demonesses that had made our family tree rather... interesting; her quiet "Well, that’s what happens when two very different races get together, Katherine..." was barely caught by the Mom daughter pairing opposite us, and it imdiately made them both smirk in their usually arrogant and charming way.
