It wasn't that he didn't want to, but the other party was like a flower sheltered in a greenhouse, and would struggle to adapt to the harsh external environnt. Such circumstances would certainly hinder his performance, delay his journey, and burden his progress. He didn't want to waste any more ti.

"Ming'er, you need to understand your current identity. The outside world is full of deceit and danger. If sothing happens to you, who will manage this Kingdom of Leizhen in the future?" the Thunder King asked.
"But staying cooped up here all the ti doesn't deepen my path a fraction," the Third Prince responded.
The Thunder King thought for a mont, feeling that Ming'er's argunt was reasonable, but the outside world was indeed dangerous, Ming'er was inexperienced, and he feared he would fall prey to treacherous people.
After thinking back and forth, he suddenly had a clever idea and replied, "You can go, but you'll need to take a large contingent of soldiers with you."
Lin Yifan was the first to stand up and oppose, "Absolutely not, I don't like stirring up such a commotion. If the Thunder King insists, then let the Prince venture out alone."

"I don't care, I just want to go on an adventure with Young Master Lin," the Third Prince stubbornly replied.
The Thunder King was worried as well and reluctantly stepped back, "You can go with him, but you must take a few things."
"What things?"

"It's held at Tianhua Mountain within the borders of Great You Country, the rules supposedly limit participants to below the Great Immortal Realm. As for the prize, they say it's three Wind Spirit Pearls," the Thunder King replied.
"Wind Spirit Pearls? Interesting, interesting."
Lin Yifan decided to go, and so prepared to leave imdiately.
However, he encountered strong opposition from the Thunder King.
The Thunder King requested a day to spend ti with the Third Prince to discuss various matters.
Lin Yifan realized this was only natural, so he agreed to depart the next day.

Upon hearing that Ming'er was going out for training, the Third Prince's mother was worried and anxious.
But after listening to her son's reasoning, she wanted to stop him but didn't dare.
A man should aspire to travel far; sotis people need to undergo training to beco more mature. Additionally, with the help of the Thunder King's Secret Weapon, she thought more about it and finally agreed to let Ming'er go on an adventure with Young Master Lin.
