“I did, but those bodyguards were all flash and no substance.

At this, she was utterly infuriated.
Her bodyguards, hired at great expense from a security company and touted as “Gold Bodyguards,” turned out to be utterly useless, serving at best as re decoration, completely failing to ensure her safety.

“What’s your thod?” An Qi curiously inquired, finding it more and more interesting.

An Qi, standing by his side, felt a chill sweeping over her, a fear taking hold.
Seeing his stern face again, she knew Lin Yifan was about to get serious.
Lin Yifan walked straight up to the kidnappers and asked coldly, “Speak!
Who sent you?”
“Nobody, we did this ourselves,” one of the kidnappers stubbornly replied, determined to protect the identity of their employer.
“Good!

You’re spirited, you have professional ethics, you’re not wrong for being in this line of work,” Lin Yifan comnted with biting sarcasm, then changed his tone to sothing more ferocious, “I didn’t expect you to willingly reveal your mastermind.
What I’m counting on is you begging to tell .”
Having said that, he picked up a Dagger from the ground and approached the stubborn kidnapper, then rcilessly stabbed the dagger into the kidnapper’s thigh.
“Ahhh!!!”
The stubborn kidnapper instantly bulged his veins, screaming endlessly.
Witnessing such a cruel scene, An Qi was genuinely frightened, so she couldn’t help but ask, “How can you be so cruel?”

Feeling an icy cold sensation at his crotch, along with a piercing pain, the stubborn kidnapper shivered with fear and anxiously asked, “What are you trying to do?”
“The knife is here already, what else could I do?” Lin Yifan’s lips curled into a sinister smile, his intentions clear without words.
The stubborn kidnapper quickly warned, “Administering punishnt privately is illegal; you can’t do this.”
He hoped to intimidate Lin Yifan with this; but could an experienced Lin Yifan be so easily frightened?
The answer was obviously no.
So, Lin Yifan mocked with a pertinent question, “Don’t you find it funny that you’re the one saying this?”
