Ever since Ye Guichen and Wang Ying parted ways in Atlantis, they hadn't seen each other. But looking at Wang Ying's deanor, it seed like he had offended him sohow. With a helpless shrug, Ye Guichen followed him.
Wang Ying led Ye Guichen to a place not far from the dojo, a small establishnt nad i Gui Cafe.
Upon entering the second floor, there was a graceful lady sitting by the window.
The lady had a short ponytail, a cropped vest on the upper body, light blue capris on the lower body, and she was quietly sitting by the window, sipping coffee and staring outside absentmindedly.
Ye Guichen instantly recognized her; it was Murong.
"You go over there yourself," Wang Ying said coldly, looking as if Ye Guichen owed her a fortune. He then found a seat not far away and ordered a cup of coffee.
It was still early, and there weren't many people in the cafe.
Ye Guichen didn't understand why Murong was looking for him. He walked over, waving his hand in front of her. "Hey, Lady Murong, the big martial competition is over, but here you are looking for . I'm truly honored!"
Murong, who had been lost in thought, ca back to her senses, her worried expression relaxing imdiately as if she had heard good news. "Are you really that happy to see ?"
"Uh..." Ye Guichen had spoken casually, not expecting Murong to take him seriously. Awkwardly, he replied, "Of course."
He then sat down across from Murong.
Murong had clearly dressed up a bit today, and seeing Ye Guichen sit down, her gaze flickered. She pouted and asked, "Ye Guichen, I ca out specifically to find you today. Are you surprised?"
"Surprised, very surprised." Ye Guichen nodded repeatedly, feeling quite bewildered inside.
To be honest, he and Murong were just acquaintances and couldn't even be considered good friends.
In fact, Ye Guichen felt closer to Wang Ying than to Murong.
Though he didn't understand why Murong was looking for him, now that she was here, he couldn't put on an unfriendly face.
At that mont, a cafe staff mber approached to ask what he wanted to drink. Ye Guichen waved his hand and said, "I'm not used to coffee, just get a glass of water."
After the staff mber left, Murong pouted and said, "Captain Ye, the aroma of coffee is quite strong. I didn't expect you to be as old-fashioned as my grandfather. He won't drink it no matter what, which is such a waste."
Ye Guichen chuckled, "Lady Murong, you didn't co to discuss coffee with , did you?"
"Of course not." Murong was no longer the spoiled girl she was when they first t. "You saved my life during the big competition. I ca here today to ask how you want to repay you."
"Uh, there's no need for that. I was just doing my duty."
"How could that be! You have no idea how difficult it was for to co out. I snuck out today and had Wang Ying call you over. I don't have much ti, so hurry up and tell how I can repay you. As long as I can do it, I won't refuse."
Saying this, Murong looked intently at Ye Guichen.
Ye Guichen found this girl quite interesting, coming all the way to ask how she could repay him. He teased her, asking, "Heh, if I asked you to marry , would you agree?"

Murong pursed her lips, looking at Ye Guichen thoughtfully. She suddenly asked, "Captain Ye, do you have a girlfriend?"
Ye Guichen was taken aback, then smiled. "Of course, my master arranged it. We're already discussing marriage. I'll introduce you to her if there's a chance."
"Oh?" Murong rested her chin on her hand, trying to hide the disappointnt in her eyes, appearing interested instead. "If she's your fiancée, she must be stunning and have a strong background, right?"
Ye Guichen scratched his head. "Not really. She's definitely beautiful, but her background isn't as strong as Lady Murong's. Heh heh, she should be coming to Jinling soon. If Lady Murong is interested, I'll introduce you."
"Okay, I'm curious to see what kind of woman you fancy," Murong said, staring directly at Ye Guichen, making him a bit uncomfortable. "Cough, cough, Lady Murong, if there's nothing else, may I leave now?"
Murong pouted. "What, you don't even want to chat with a bit?"
"It's not that. I just have other things to do," Ye Guichen said, feeling uneasy under Murong's intense gaze, starting to understand her intentions.
