Karg had never fought such a satisfying battle before.
Facing an evenly matched opponent, yet able to slay them in an instant, Karg couldn’t help but shout out to vent his feelings.
"Karg will fight three!"
The subsequent battle naturally held no suspense.
With Karg freed up, he joined Royce and Mage Loren’s focus fire team and imdiately slew the Gray Dwarf in front of Dwarf Bruno, even though at this mont the two Gray Dwarves had used Gigantification.
Just as they planned to deal with the last Gray Dwarf, they were astonished to find that the opponent had already fallen at Raine’s feet.
"Raine, you..." Royce’s eyes widened in surprise as he looked at the frosty-bearded and frosty-browed Gray Dwarf corpse on the ground, then looked back at Raine.
"Impressive!" Dwarf Bruno saw this scene and gave a thumbs up, praising.
Although he often referred to these Gray Dwarves as Earthworms, in reality, he knew that, as traitors among the Dwarves, these opponents had combat prowess equal to any Dwarf.
And since this young man before him could single-handedly take down a Gray Dwarf, in so sense, he could also take him down one-on-one.
"Thank you!" Raine smiled.
In fact, Raine also felt quite emotional at that mont.
The three Gray Dwarves that previously required the entire Howling Hunter Squad’s full effort and cooperation to handle were now slain with ease like slicing through butter.
Just now, he had resolved a Challenge Level one Gray Dwarf with only three lee attacks imbued with Frost Strike — ’Shield Bash followed by two Armor-Piercing Strikes’.
This was while he had initially cast a Freezing Ray on the focus fire target to facilitate the team’s kill.
"Raine, not bad, just a bit inferior to ." The Half-Orc Karg gestured with his hands.
In Karg’s view, this was high praise for Raine.
"What a pity, only three Gray Dwarves, aning we each get only half. If there were six Gray Dwarves, we could each take one and surely earn a points reward," said Wanderer Royce, looking at the Gray Dwarf corpses on the ground, with so regret.
The team’s strength had exceeded his maximum expectations.
This made him want more!
"If we go further down, will there be more Gray Dwarves?" Hearing about the points, the Half-Orc Karg’s eyes spun, his mind unusually active.
"I think it’s possible!" Dwarf Bruno agreed.
"Let’s first look for loot; these Gray Dwarves’ equipnt isn’t bad, let’s collect them first and distribute based on contribution after the mission," Royce suggested.
Collecting loot was naturally a session everyone looked forward to, but with only three Gray Dwarves and a six-mber squad, the gathering was very quick.
And of course, the noble Casters didn’t need to get involved, including Raine, the ’Quasi-Caster.’
"Shorty, this shiny silver ore, is it Silver Ore?" Suddenly, the Half-Orc Karg seed to find sothing in a Gray Dwarf’s pouch. Lifting a fist-sized, starry specked ore, he asked Bruno beside him.
"Oh? That’s Silver Ore." About to scold the Half-Orc, Dwarf Bruno, seeing the ore, reacted like a chicken seeing rice, examining it seriously.
"Wait a minute! Damn! This is Secret Silver Ore!" Bruno’s eyes suddenly widened, thoroughly losing composure!
"I finally understand why the Gray Dwarves are here. It turns out there’s an extrely precious associated ore, Secret Silver Ore."
"Secret Silver Ore?" Wanderer Royce was taken aback, as he had also heard of this valuable ore.
"Yes, just this one unrefined raw ore is worth at least five or six Gold Coins!" Dwarf Bruno affird.
Hearing this, both the Half-Orc Karg and Wanderer Royce’s eyes lit up.
"Then what are we waiting for, co on, let’s dive deeper!" Karg urged impatiently.
"Wait, there’s movent in the tunnel! Gray Dwarves are rushing towards us," Raine suddenly noticed, his ear twitching slightly, imdiately alerting, "this tunnel too."
"Haha, great! I’ll handle this side, Karg will chop down three, no, ten!"
"Priest, rember to put up the protection!" Seemingly spurred by the Secret Silver, Karg fearlessly and excitedly approached the marked tunnel entrance.
"Boom! I’m in charge here; I can hold three!" Dwarf Bruno also loudly announced, standing by another tunnel entrance.
"Careful!"
Raine’s voice just fell.
Only to hear a ’Boom!’ as the tall and robust Half-Orc Karg flew backward like a cannonball, soaring four to five ters.
