Elental Knight Captain·Lide, when it leaves the field due to the effect of an Elental follower, can activate its effect to negate the effects of the first X other cards activated this turn. (X is the number of Elental followers on the field when it leaves.)
A very powerful first-hand restriction field, indeed a strategy that requires only a formulaic unfolding to be very strong.
The Environnt Card grants his followers effect resistance, then one follower restricts opponent special summons, one follower grants his followers battle destruction resistance, and the last follower is used to negate the effects of opponent-activated cards.
The first two restrictions might be broken by the opponent using Elental Life Cards, but with Elental Knight Captain·Lide added in, it can negate the effects of the first X cards activated by the opponent to stop them from exploiting the breach.
