"Next is the duel between An Hai and Theis, right?"
Tan Song didn’t leave in a hurry, wanting to see An Hai’s duel.
"Who do you think will win?" Tan Song asked.
Shen Sui shook his head and said, "I don’t know. There’s no prior record of them competing against each other."
Tan Song said, "After all, Theis is ranked number one in the world, and although there’s no record, this isn’t An Hai’s first world tournant; he was just eliminated before eting Theis, so they couldn’t face each other."
An Hai’s skills aren’t weak, but to make it to the world championship knockout stage, you have to be among the top Life Card Masters in the world, so it’s no surprise he got eliminated.
"However, in a Life Card Duel, anything is possible." Tan Song thought for a mont; it’s truly hard to make a decision.
After all, even Theis doesn’t win every match, and losing to a lesser-known ninth-tier Life Card Master in a tournant isn’t unheard of.
In fact, similar things have happened to both Theis, You Wenqi, and Tan Song.
While they spoke, today’s final duel began.
An Hai and Theis, two cold n, stepped onto the dueling stage.
Both had expressionless faces, but similar fighting spirits in their eyes.
After the referee read the rules, the match was announced to begin.
Without any unnecessary words, they imdiately began the duel.
An Hai’s deck was the sa Rose Card Set he used when dueling Shen Sui, only with slight modifications in details.
Shen Sui imdiately noticed the modifications were specifically made to counter Theis’s Mythical Card Set.
An Hai’s deck gave Shen Sui a sense of familiarity, while Theis felt like a surprise.
He wasn’t very familiar with Indian mythology, plus the Indian mythology in World No. 2 differs from the one on Earth.
The first two turns were normal plays, with wins on both sides.
But when Theis used a Spell Card [Human-God Exchange] to transform five 2-star followers into five 15-star followers, everyone was stunned.
Sun God, Earth God, Air God, Water God, Fire God.
The five Divine Cards from Theis’s deck appeared all at once in an instant.
Such an awe-inspiring presence was overwhelming even to spectators.
An Hai didn’t expect Theis could summon the five gods with just three cards.
Is this the [Human-God Exchange] from Indian mythology? It’s too unbelievable, right?
Fortunately, this summoning wasn’t without cost; the five Divine Cards could only exist for one turn and would be sent to the graveyard at the turn’s end.
It’s a self-restricting effect similar to the Earth-bound God’s.
Only when there are Event Cards or Environnt Cards on the field can these gods continue to exist.
Although Theis’s three-card, five-god play startled An Hai, he was well aware of the weaknesses of Theis’s five Divine Cards.
So he decisively played a hand trap.
But the Earth God’s effect activated at that mont, directly negating An Hai’s hand trap.
An Hai, however, was not surprised. He was prepared for the Earth God’s move, opening the graveyard to activate the effect of Nether River Rose, banishing it to activate the effect of a Follower Card in the graveyard.
This effect, of course, was from the Follower Card An Hai just discarded into the graveyard.
"Activate the effect of [Crescent Rose], until the end of this turn, you cannot use Soul Points to activate effects of Life Cards above 10 stars."
The Environnt Cards and Event Cards in Theis’s deck were mostly above ten stars, so this card was aid at that weak point.
Upon hearing the effect, how could Theis not understand what An Hai was planning?
"Is this as far as it goes?" Theis smiled, shaking his head, "It’s interesting, but not enough."
After speaking, he directly activated the Air God’s effect.
Powerful Divine Power enveloped Theis’s deck, permanently reducing the star level of all cards in his deck and hand by 5.
Of course, this effect wasn’t without cost; when Air God left the field, Theis had to return all his hand cards to the deck.
But there was no next turn.
Theis revealed a confident smile: "When the five gods descend, doomsday has already begun, and we have no next turn."
As he finished speaking, Theis began chanting mysterious incantations.
The Sun God slowly raised its head, its rciless gaze sweeping across everyone present.
Perhaps due to the realism of the projection equipnt, everyone felt a tremor in their hearts.
Shen Sui squinted his eyes.
He was certain that just now a powerful spiritual force had swept over him.
The Sun God seed to notice Shen Sui’s presence, its gaze pausing in his direction for a mont.
"Listen to the Sun God’s Requiem!"
"According to the Sun God’s effect," Theis said loudly, "when my Life Card goes to the graveyard, I can draw one card from the deck."
This effect didn’t seem like much...
But, it wasn’t limited to once per turn.
Yes, this effect wasn’t limited to once per turn, but if activated, Theis would automatically lose at the end of the turn.
Using Divine Power cos at a price.
And the Sun God’s effect is known as one of the few special victory cards in the real world, only the special victory is for Theis’s opponent.
