By this point, anyone who has seen Shen Sui duel would know that Shen Sui has already won this duel.
But even though Lak knows of Shen Sui, that's only because Shen Sui is on his target list. He doesn't understand Shen Sui at all.
So when Lak brazenly declared he would torture Shen Sui to death, Shen Sui could only find it amusing.
After releasing two Dragon Race derivatives, Shen Sui, with enough Soul Points again, paid 15 Soul Points to transform [Queen of Dragons Qishala] into [Star Abyss White Dragon Qishala].
At this point, it essentially announced Lak's death.
If it were a regular opponent, Shen Sui would have ended it cleanly, as fewer actions show respect to the opponent.
But Lak is different.
Shen Sui doesn't believe such a person needs much respect.
In fact, Shen Sui thinks that for soone like Lak, treating him in his own way is the highest form of respect.
When you choose to find pleasure in torturing your opponent, you should be ready to face the sa kind of tornt.
Thinking of this, Shen Sui pulled out a Life Card from his hand: "Activate the effect of [Heart of the Holy Mother] in my hand; this card doesn't require Soul Points to activate, allowing you to restore seven thousand Life Value."
Lak, who originally thought Shen Sui would directly end the duel, was slightly stunned when he saw Shen Sui raise his hand to increase his Life Value by seven thousand.
But then he imdiately understood what Shen Sui intended to do.
Because he had done the sa to Life Card Masters who died under his tornt.
Adding Life Value to the opponent lets you torture them a bit longer.
That fleeting hope followed by a plunge into Abyss-like despair is truly addictive.
Lak's lips trembled slightly.
Noticing Lak's expression, Shen Sui was amused: "You seem very scared."
Lak glared viciously into Shen Sui's eyes.

"I see you don't understand at all." Shen Sui said disappointedly.
Saying this, Shen Sui raised his hand to reveal the form of [Magic Seeker Alice] on the duel field.
Various forms were displayed in front of Shen Sui, most of which were concealed, indicating there were no effects to activate at this ti.
But one form was in an active state.
Shen Sui activated this form: "Activate the effect of the form [Fla Dragon Mage Alice], when there's a [Dragon] Follower on my field, I can transform [Alice] into this form."
Just completing the Dragon Race trial, Alice stepped onto Shen Sui's duel stage for the first ti.
"Activate the effect of [Fla Dragon Mage Alice], I can target a [Dragon] Follower card on the field. When the targeted Follower card attacks and deals damage, I can select and activate a Spell Card from the graveyard, execute the Spell Card effect, and return the specified Follower card to my hand."
After doing all this, Shen Sui directly entered the battle phase.
"Qishala, direct attack."
Shen Sui pointed at Lak.
Six thousand damage landed directly on Lak.
"Since Qishala initiated an attack and caused damage, I activate [Fla Dragon Mage Alice]'s effect, selecting [Heart of the Holy Mother] from the graveyard to activate."
The effect of [Heart of the Holy Mother] activated, giving Lak another seven thousand Life Point recovery, unexpectedly increasing his Life Value.
However, at this mont, Lak had no ti to care about it.
Suffering six thousand damage, he felt his very soul being torn apart, curling up in agony.
Yet just as he thought Shen Sui's turn was ending, a devilish voice rang by his ear: "An attack that doesn't destroy a Follower doesn't count towards Qishala's attack count, so Qishala can continue attacking."
"Impossible! She should have been bounced back to your hand by the effect!" Lak raised his head in shock to look at Shen Sui's field.
What filled him with despair was the elegant, beautiful, yet woeful and deadly White Dragon still standing there.
"How could this happen... How is this possible..."
Shen Sui smiled and said: "I'm sorry, Qishala's turn of arrival is unaffected by other card effects. So, Alice's effect can't bounce her back to my hand."
"Of course." Though the smile was friendly, in Lak's eyes it was like a call from the 18th layer of hell, "This also ans that Alice's effect can keep being activated."
"Qishala, direct attack."
Shen Sui commanded Qishala to make a second attack.
Six thousand damage once again struck Lak rcilessly.
This ti, he could no longer endure such terrifying pain, and cried out in agony.
However, in the next mont, [Fla Dragon Mage Alice]'s effect activated, and Shen Sui once again activated [Heart of the Holy Mother] from the graveyard, the seven thousand Life Value recovery seemingly eased his spirit sowhat.
But before Lak could enjoy a mont of relief, Qishala's next attack fell upon him.
