The dinner was exquisite, similar to a rice dish topped with a bowl of red tomato sauce, and so green beans and atballs inside, covered with a bowl of rice, making it look appetizing.
Yang Chen walked over and said, "Tomato mixed vegetable atball rice. I learned this from a friend before. It whets the appetite; I think you haven’t had a good appetite lately, so eat while it’s hot!"
After he finished speaking, Yang Chen walked past the dining table and headed towards the sofa.
As Yang Chen walked by, Wei Xueqing frowned because she slled a pungent odor of alcohol and an unpleasant oily tobacco scent.

Before she could speak, a man urgently shouted from the other end, "Yang Chen! Can you make it to the police bureau? Gu Xijun unexpectedly brought Liu Chengpeng and his son in. You know the evidence isn’t in our hands yet, their arrest could tip them off, and if they get out and flee abroad, we won’t be able to catch them later!"
Upon hearing this, Wei Xueqing’s eyes widened, full of disbelief.
The caller sensed sothing was off and asked, "Hello? Yang Chen? Why aren’t you speaking?"
Wei Xueqing imdiately hung up the phone.
At that mont, her heart was pounding intensely.
Yang Chen had repeatedly ntioned to Wei Xueqing that Liu Chengpeng might be the murderer of her father, Wei Qingzhong. But Wei Xueqing never believed it, because even if Liu Chengpeng wanted to seize shares, he didn’t need to kill her father!

Yang Chen frowned, unsure of the situation since he hadn’t got the call.
After thinking for a mont, Yang Chen walked over, taking the phone from Wei Xueqing’s hand.
Upon seeing the number on the phone, Yang Chen imdiately knew it was Zhao Wende calling.
He never notes contacts because he rembers everyone’s numbers by heart. Plus, even if the phone was lost, this way no information would be leaked.
Imdiately, Yang Chen called Zhao Wende back.
"Hey, Yang Chen, what happened earlier?" Zhao Wende said.
"Nothing. Repeat what you said just now."
Zhao Wende didn’t think much of it and continued, "Gu Xijun got Liu Chengpeng and his son in for questioning. I’ve been investigating this, but the evidence isn’t fully gathered yet, making it impossible to convict. If they escape abroad, we won’t be able to catch them later! They don’t have any prior offenses, but during Wei Qingzhong’s death, the father and son had gone abroad during that period!"
"What’s the situation now?" Yang Chen asked with a frown.
This move by Gu Xijun truly caught him off guard.
"Now both are behaving as if they’ve agreed on sothing, saying absolutely nothing!"
Yang Chen thought for a mont, looked at the resentful Wei Xueqing who was staring at him, and said seriously, "Hang on, we’ll be right there!"

Wei Xueqing’s heart trembled.
