The red sedan in front sped away, racing at an incredible speed. Jared Quinn knew lody Thorne could drive, but he had never seen her driving skills be so impressive. She actually dared to race with him.
Jared Quinn’s lips curled up with interest, and he followed her. He was curious to see what else she was capable of.
An hour passed, and the car simply circled around the area without any intention of hiding or escaping. Jared Quinn gradually lost patience, accelerated quickly, and caught up with the red Bentley ahead, crashing into it heavily.
The two cars collided, and the red Bentley in front ca to a stop. Jared Quinn got out of his car, strode over, opened the car door, and sneered, "Weren’t you so capable? Gave up so quickly? Why aren’t you running anymore? Run...".
The person inside was visibly frightened when Jared Quinn opened the door, his face pale. When he turned his head,
Jared Quinn’s handso face quickly darkened. He grabbed the small, thin man inside and yanked him out in a fury, "Where’s the woman inside?".
The man was scared stiff. He had just returned from a construction site when he saw a woman as beautiful as a fairy parked in front of him, asking him to drive her car at high speed for an hour and then stop, in exchange for a thousand yuan. He obliged, but had no idea that a luxury car would be chasing him.
"She, she said if I drove her car she’d pay a thousand yuan and asked to find a secluded place and wait for her. She said she’d co over to pay once I called her," the man stamred.
"Call her!" Jared Quinn dragged the man out and threw him to the ground, kicking the car hard. This woman was getting more and more daring.
Even he had been played by her. Even though he couldn’t see her now, he could feel her smugness.
"Alright, alright," the man made the call to lody Thorne,
and lody Thorne answered quickly, "Tell the address, I’ll be right there. Don’t worry, you’ll definitely get your money."
The man gave an address, trembling and not daring to look back.
lody Thorne hung up the phone, exited the restroom, and entered a private room in a bar. She looked at the woman on the sofa and said, "Have you thought it over?".
Kiki Sutton looked at her and sneered, "You better take care of yourself first. I really don’t know where you got the courage to play these tricks in front of Jared Quinn."
"Do you really want to see bullied by him without fighting back?" lody Thorne poured a drink with low alcohol content, "People always want freedom after experiencing a cage."
"You’ve really changed," Kiki Sutton looked at her. "If it were the old you, you wouldn’t even need him to chase you. Just a beckoning finger from him would have you running to him imdiately."
But that lody Thorne is gone.
Seeing her silence, Kiki Sutton continued, "Actually, sotis I really envy you, or maybe I’m just jealous. When issues arose with both the Sutton Family and the Thorne Family, you could go to the Quinn Family for refuge, while I had nowhere to turn."
lody Thorne knew she had been struggling in the entertainnt industry, especially after signing with Radiant. Kenneth Young was famously demanding, only liking won who clung to his golden thigh.
When he was pleased and satisfied, those won thrived. If he was displeased, his artists were suppressed, and no amount of good scripts would fall into Kiki Sutton’s hands.
