The expensive suit, watch, shoes, and tie were all mixed together, soaking in the water, as she occasionally stirred them with her small hand.
He walked over, standing right beside her, yet she didn’t notice. Jared Quinn lowered his gaze to look at his little wife; at this mont, lody Thorne was as quiet as she used to be, so quiet she almost lacked any presence.
She once again showed those clean, clear, and innocent eyes, reminiscent of the first day she married into the Quinn Family.
When he first saw her, his gaze was already drawn to her eyes, lingering for a few seconds.

"No, no." lody Thorne struggled, "Let go, I don’t want to sleep, I want to watch Jared Quinn jump into the sea."
Jared Quinn "...go sleep."
"No, no." lody Thorne’s struggling suddenly ceased; she looked longingly at the man above, "You’re Jared Quinn."
Jared Quinn shut his eyes tightly before carrying her out and placing her on the big bed, ignoring whether she was truly drunk or pretending. His fingers grasped lody Thorne’s chin, "What exactly do you want?"
"I want to kill you." lody Thorne gazed desperately at his chest.

The fruit knife felt cold at her fingertips, very cold. Because of the alcohol, she was still sowhat unclear, her hand trembling.
But Jared Quinn wouldn’t allow her to back down; he grabbed her hand and stabbed it into himself. She was definitely the first woman who could make him hurt over and over again!
lody Thorne’s hand was half-retracting at the mont; when he grasped her hand to stab forward, her heart tightened suddenly, wanting to pull back but it was too late, the fruit knife pierced into Jared Quinn’s skin.
"Ah!" lody Thorne scread, wrapping both hands around her body and burst into tears.
The so-called satisfaction didn’t arrive...
"It’s okay." Jared Quinn pulled out the fruit knife, grabbed a piece of clothing to cover the wound, not very deep, but it was bleeding.
"Is it enough?" His voice was hoarse, as he hugged her into his embrace with one hand.
lody Thorne gradually stopped making noise, quietly falling asleep. Jared Quinn wanted to lay her on the bed to tend to the wound, but as soon as he moved, lody Thorne would wake. He could only cover the wound with one hand and hold her with the other, standing by the bed.
The woman lying on his chest flashed a mischievous smile...
