"Did you have soone follow ?" lody Thorne walked in and slapped her hands on the man’s desk.
Jared Quinn stared at her intently. He indeed had soone follow her, and from the very first day she married into the Quinn Family, he had ordered it. At that ti, her eyes looked so innocent, which led him to give such an order,
The purpose of those people was to protect her. Otherwise, with her previous personality, how could she have survived until today?
"Calm down, don’t make a fuss." His large hand pulled her into his embrace. "You can pretend they don’t exist; they won’t appear in front of you."
"And then all of my privacy will be completely exposed to you?" lody never expected that Jared would truly have soone follow her.

Jared’s face was buried in her neck, inhaling the faint fragrance of her skin. He originally intended to leave her alone, but this woman was inadvertently provoking him, appearing in his room in the middle of the night.

Is he implying that she’s pretending? Playing hard to get?

lody was furious. There’s no reasoning with a man in heat.
Her head slamd back viciously, and at the sa ti, she stomped her foot down.
Jared’s arm loosened, and she took the opportunity to escape from his grasp, glaring fiercely at the man behind her, one hand covering the back of her head. "Sooner or later, I will get the freedom I want!"
Her figure disappeared through the door, Jared’s scarlet lips curled with a wicked, cold smile, two streaks of blood trickling from his nostrils, making him look very much like a ruthless demon king.
Freedom, is that possible?
lody took out her computer and opened up a chat with Caleb. Her ssage was brief and bold: "I want the Thorne Family’s lost shares, I’ll exchange them with witnesses. Consider it, and give your answer as soon as possible; won’t wait beyond that."
The arrogance in her tone was palpable, making the slightly sickly-looking man by the window chuckle lowly. "What you want to do, I will fully support."
Including the freedom she wanted, paving her way to leave the Quinn Family.
Thinking of Jared, Caleb’s eyes turned cold. He was a very formidable opponent, and there was an unknown layer to his identity that no one could uncover. This person was too deep to fathom!
