Jared Quinn’s eyes darkened as he grabbed her waist, applying a force that fixed her in his arms. He lowered his head and kissed her, not in a cautious way, but with a deep plunder. His big hand slid into her clothes, rubbing her waist, without concealing the heat within his body at all.
lody Thorne breathed lightly, "You just said you would respect ."
Another bucket of cold water was poured down.
Jared released her, "Touching you is disrespectful?"
"Isn’t it? I don’t want to," lody looked directly at him. "If you can’t stand it, you can go solve it outside."
Jared’s hand suddenly tightened. This woman had no feelings for him whatsoever.
His big hand tightened around her waist, and after a faint glance, he took her downstairs.
"Young Master," the butler ca out from the kitchen with sothing black and muddled. "The dicine for the young madam’s health is ready."
lody took one look at it and wanted to vomit.
"I’m not drinking it."
Jared took it, not rushing, his big hand half-hugging her as he sat on the sofa. "Take your ti, you can go out after you finish drinking."
lody glared at him viciously, truly hateful, she had many things to do today.
"Actually, I have a better way to make you drink it," Jared put down the newspaper in his hand, his gaze piercing.
lody picked up the bowl of pitch-black tonic, unwilling to waste ti with him, planning to drink it all in one go. But after just a sip, her expression changed, and she imdiately leaned towards Jared’s mouth, transferring the dicine to him.
"Sharing the bitterness, not bad," Jared comnted.
Without the expected outburst, lody wanted to leave again, reluctantly finishing it all.
"Good girl," Jared’s big hand was like coaxing a little dog.
"Can I leave now?" lody placed the bowl on the table, ready to explode at any mont.
"Let’s go," Jared took her small hand.
"Jared!" lody had enough, "Where are you going?"
Jared turned back casually, "To accompany you, in case you feel empty and lonely halfway and look for another man."
"You’re the one who’s empty and lonely, I don’t need your company," lody objected, she didn’t want him involved in any of her matters.
"Good girl, don’t be troubleso," his indifferent words extinguished all her fury!
Ah!! Driving her crazy, the Jared from her previous life wasn’t like this, he would mock her, disdain her, insult her, but never cling to her like this.
Jared started the car, acting as the driver, "Where to?"
She didn’t want to go anywhere!!
"To the coffin shop!"
Jared "..."
The car stopped at the coffin shop, lody got out resentfully, "I’m going in to buy sothing, I’ll be out in five minutes, wait here for ."
She was afraid he would follow her in.
Jared rolled down the car window, watching her silhouette, and took a cigarette from the car drawer. His handso features, gradually obscured by smoke, were reflected in the glass, an alluring kind of idle laziness that could drive people wild.
Many won gazed obsessively at the car window, each with an impulse to step forward. Unfortunately, the aura surrounding the man was too intimidating.
The outside’s infatuated gazes made Jared feel disgusted. He exhaled smoke, his eyes still fixed on the small figure that had just left.
lody went in, chose a few items, and when it ca ti to pay, she pulled out a thick stack of small bills, "Boss, is there a back door?"
Five minutes later, Jared extinguished the fifth cigarette in his hand, and the person inside had yet to co out.
