When Jared entered, the lights inside were dim, and the sound of running water ca from the bathroom. He stepped in without turning on the room light, clutching a ring he deliberately had soone obtain from a jewelry designer.
It was the ring ant for Mrs. Quinn, the one he should have given her on their wedding day. He just never thought there’d be feelings between them, so he hadn’t given it to her.
The sound of water continued from the bathroom. Jared lit a cigarette and smoked slowly, his gaze locked on the bathroom door, while images of lody Thorne shy yet eager to approach infiltrated his mind.
A special fragrance perated the entire suite.
Ivy washed her body repeatedly, using the shower gel and body lotion lody usually used. She had been calculating the ti since she heard the door noise from outside.

Ivy’s hand couldn’t help but climb onto the man’s handso and flawless features, his well-defined chest, tenderly and cautiously caressing as she gradually moved lower. Her fingers began to undo the man’s shirt buttons one by one.
While she was intently unbuttoning the man’s shirt, Jared’s brows twitched slightly. He just wanted to see what lody Thorne would do when she ca out.
She sure was bold, daring to unbutton his clothes.
"Little vixen," Jared’s eyes, as dark as ancient wells, suddenly snapped open as his large hand accurately grabbed the woman’s hand that was undoing his buttons.
"Ah!" Ivy’s body shivered abruptly, screaming in shock, nearly fainting from fright.
Upon hearing the sound, Jared’s gaze suddenly darkened, and his large hand had already flung the woman beside him off the bed.
"Ah!" Ivy fell down suddenly, her body wracked with pain. She looked up, instantly eting Jared’s gaze of almost murderous fury.
"Why is it you?" Jared’s deep features swiftly turned dark, like a storm raging through.
"I... I..." Ivy never expected Jared to wake up. The room was supposed to have enough drugs to keep him asleep, at least for an hour.
"It was lody Thorne, lody Thorne told to co," Ivy wasn’t foolish enough to admit it was an opportunity traded with lody Thorne.
Upon hearing lody Thorne’s na, it felt like a furious beast was rampaging within Jared’s body, his dark phoenix eyes full of desolation, burning with rage.
"Knock knock," a sound at the door.
"Master Quinn," the suite door opened, and several soldiers walked in, led by a man in a black uniform.
He, like Timothy Lockwood, was one of Jared’s close confidants.
"We’ve received information that a woman attempted to harm you and was carrying illegal substances."
