And they claim they are now regarding each other as boyfriend and girlfriend.
But the two people inside haven’t noticed any of this.
In the villa.
The room is cold like a storage freezer. The man, with bare shoulders, is still locked on that big bed. The butler is at a loss. He never realized before how stubborn the young master could be. He insists on waiting for the young mistress to return to unlock the handcuffs.
The butler really wants to slap himself a few tis. What was the point of putting such things in the young master’s room?
"Young Master, please let unlock you first." The butler, dressed in clothes, is almost crying from the cold. The temperature in the air-conditioned room is no joke, and he’s watching as the wound on the young master’s chest has beco infected again, oozing yellow liquid.
Jared Quinn’s cold gaze swept over, and the butler imdiately dared not say another word, nor dared to call lody Thorne.
Jared Quinn wanted to see if lody Thorne would truly care about him, after all, he’d pampered her for so many days.
But he waited all night, thinking the woman would co in the morning so he could properly teach her a lesson. Yet, she didn’t co in the morning.
He waited until the afternoon, and still, she had not returned.
Her drama shoot had long since finished, but she still hadn’t co back.
"Young Master, the phone is ringing. Could it be the young mistress?" the butler spoke.
"Bring it here."
"Yes." The butler handed over the phone, unlocking it in front of Jared Quinn.
But the temperature in the entire room suddenly plumted. The butler wanted to take it back, but it was too late. Looking up, the man’s handso face had turned as dark as it could be.
There was a photo of a hospital room—a hospital bed, with Hans Montrose shirtless, looking tenderly down at lody Thorne. Due to the angle of the photo, it seed as if lody Thorne’s face was almost buried in Hans Montrose’s chest, and Hans Montrose’s lips were nearly touching lody Thorne’s forehead, creating a very suggestive, unclear scene.
When lody Thorne received Jared Quinn’s call, she had just finished applying dicine to Hans Montrose. She stood by the window, listening to the phone,
The person on the other end hadn’t spoken yet, but she already sensed a gloomy vibe.
"What’s wrong?" lody Thorne spoke first,
"Where are you?"
lody Thorne "..."
This tone inexplicably reminded her of the ti Jared Quinn went to Hans Montrose’s house looking for her, and his furious deanor. She feared that if Jared Quinn found out she was at Hans Montrose’s place, he would storm over in anger and implicate Hans Montrose.
Thinking it over, she said, "There’s a last-minute scene to be shot today, so I might not be back until tonight. Could you inform Timmy for ? I’ll be back to accompany him later this evening."
There was a pause of a few seconds on the other side, as if carrying imnse anger, "I’m injured, co back to accompany ."
lody Thorne was stunned for a few seconds, turning to glance at Hans Montrose. Hans Montrose’s injuries were quite severe, while even if Jared Quinn was hurt, Leon Rivers, that quack doctor, would be around. From the sound of his voice, full of vigor and rage, he didn’t seem injured at all.
"I’ll be back tonight."
"lody Thorne, I’m giving you one more chance. Are you coming back or not?" On the other side, the phone was clutched tightly, almost being crushed in the palm.
"I already told you I have things to do, I’ll be back tonight, you..."
Before she could finish her sentence, the call was hung up on the other side,
lody Thorne’s heart was pounding, unexplainably anxious.
Turning back, Hans Montrose was already buttoning up his hospital gown.
PS: I don’t know if you lovely readers will feel sorry for the male lead in the next Chapter, but I already feel a bit sorry after writing this...
