Outside, there was the voice of Jade Day pleading.
At this mont, Willow Bright’s eyes only had King Lyndon in them, with a gentle warmth in her gaze, she spoke lightly to the people outside, "You should leave. Ah Ling said he’d be willing to stay here with for life, he doesn’t want to get involved in the disputes of various countries."
Then ca the voice of the assistant director, "No, you’re wrong. King Lyndon cares about the world. Haven’t you seen that he’s unhappy staying here?"
Willow Bright was slightly startled because she too felt that King Lyndon was not happy.
"He’s a man born into royalty. In his very bones runs the blood of one with the grand ambition to unite the lands. You’re imprisoning him, imprisoning his heart."
Willow Bright’s expressions were constantly changing; from the initial confidence and satisfaction, it gradually turned into contemplation and doubt, then thinking about how unhappy King Lyndon had been living here all along, gradually, she felt a bit of heartache.
The changes in emotions built up layer by layer, in an orderly fashion.
"Cut!" Director Irving called for a pause, looking at lody Thorne with the sa gaze Nina King had used earlier.
This really didn’t seem like the level of a newcor just starting to act. If he didn’t know she was a recent graduate, Director Irving would think she’s been acting for several years.
lody Thorne gathered her emotions and carefully put the props back. This careful action even made the prop crew glance at her a few more tis.
Because these props were drawn by an artist, if they got damaged, they’d have to find the artist to redo them.
The second scene required Luna Lancaster to act opposite her.
Just having seen lody Thorne’s performance, Luna Lancaster dared not take it lightly, intending to dampen her spirits with her acting skills.
But with just a short line of dialogue, the two had to redo it several tis without passing.
"lody Thorne, can you even act?" Luna Lancaster snapped, slamming the table in frustration.
lody Thorne turned around, equally helpless, "Director, I think I’d better perform alone against the air, maybe I’m unwell."
Director Irving, "..."
"Are you saying you can’t act with ?"
"I didn’t an that."
lody Thorne positioned Nina King behind Luna Lancaster, flawlessly delivering her lines in a single take.
"Thank you, everyone. I’ll be heading back first," lody Thorne waved to the crew.
"Alright, take care on the way."
Luna Lancaster’s solo scenes weren’t finished, so she had to stay and continue filming.
"lody, your phone rang earlier," Nina King said, following behind her, with a probing and inquisitive look in her eyes.
"Oh."
"I glanced at who was calling."
"It’s fine if you did."
"The note on it said ’husband’."
lody Thorne’s steps halted abruptly, turning back to see Nina King’s puzzled look.
"You’re married?" Nina King asked seriously.
lody Thorne smiled faintly. She wanted to say that not only was she married, but she also had a warm-hearted son.
"How could that be," lody Thorne placed a hand on Nina King’s shoulder, "Do I look like it?"
Nina King looked her up and down. lody Thorne had an excellent figure, was very slender, and her face was full of collagen; she didn’t look like soone who had been married.
"Being kept?"
lody Thorne snickered, "You’re overthinking it. The note on the phone belongs to a good friend of mine, her na is Kiki Sutton, she’s also an actress."
"A girl?" Nina King was even more shocked.
"No, it’s just a way we very good sisters call each other. Are you silly?"
