"Suddenly," the temperature in the room froze into ice, and a flood of danger instantly filled the space.
Leon Rivers glanced up, eting Jared Quinn’s eyes that were sharp as knives, and his heart skipped a beat. This man could forsake even his closest brother for his woman.

Leon Rivers said, "Impossible, I absolutely haven’t seen it."
lody Thorne wasn’t lying. It was on that day after Ivy made her unconscious and sent her to Leon Rivers, though she was mistaken by one day.
"Which year?" Jared Quinn asked, his entire being radiating an intimidating aura.
"I forgot," lody Thorne couldn’t possibly reveal the date lest Jared Quinn discovers sothing.
"Clearly, this is framing. I wouldn’t rest in peace if I were to die," Leon lanted, "How could you speak carelessly on such matters? Though I’m no saint, I wouldn’t dare to look at a brother’s woman even with ten guts."
There are busty and curvy won everywhere; why would he specifically look at her?
"Can’t you make hypnotized people recall the exact scene from that day?" Leon Rivers spoke up, "Quick, she must have mistaken soone else. Make her describe the specifics."
"Alright," the hypnotist walked over, softly calling lody Thorne’s na, trying to get her to recount the scene from that day.
But no matter how he opened his mouth, lody Thorne remained unresponsive.
"Does your hypnotism even work?" Leon Rivers questioned skeptically.

"Just go," Harold Chapman promptly pulled him away.
At this mont, Jared Quinn had eyes only for the woman, and he wouldn’t listen to anything else.
The room fell silent, Jared Quinn stood beside the large bed, having arranged for the hypnotist yet extracting nothing.
lody Thorne felt guilty, wondering whether she had escalated things too far?
Might she have stirred discord between Jared Quinn and Leon Rivers?
"What exactly are you hiding from ?" Jared Quinn’s large hand caressed her face, gently sliding.
"Brother," Titus Quinn’s voice ca from outside.
Jared Quinn released lody Thorne and was about to leave, but suddenly, small hands clasped his arm, and a small face pressed onto the back of his hand, as if unwilling for him to leave.
This action eased the pain from Jared Quinn’s freshly torn wound.
"I’ll be right back," Jared Quinn carefully withdrew his hand, placing her head onto the pillow.
