Luna Lancaster couldn’t help but want to upset lody Thorne when she saw her carefree deanor. She couldn’t understand why lody was so nonchalant—her sister had been at the Quinn Group for several days, yet lody continued filming, chatting and laughing with her assistant.
It’s as if she completely disregarded her sister.
And Sheryl Lancaster, even at this point, had been personally brought over by Jared Quinn, yet she still hadn’t managed to win him over.
If it were her, she probably would have succeeded long ago.
"Did you guys know? Jared’s been really nice to my sister lately," Luna deliberately raised her voice. "I heard from my sister that Jared gifted her many things, and said he wanted her to stay there as his secretary. But honestly, it’s just a man wanting a woman’s company."
"Yes, yes, maybe Miss Lancaster will beco Mrs. Quinn soon," Luna’s assistant chid in.
"Of course, after all, he and my sister were a couple before. It’s normal for young couples to have their ups and downs. I think they’re starting to discuss marriage."
"Are you okay?" Hans Montrose, having just finished filming, wore an imperial yellow robe and looked at lody Thorne with so concern.
After all, lody had been very devoted to Jared before. Even though, days before, Jared seed good to her, now he let Sheryl Lancaster into his company.
Did he not consider lody’s feelings at all?
"I’m fine," lody Thorne was fiercely battling in her ga, not reacting in the slightest.
Seeing this, Hans Montrose worried more about her. "If you don’t want to go back to the Quinn Family, maybe I can arrange a place for you to stay?"
"No need, no need," lody continued her intense fight.

Sheryl Lancaster finally got her chance, waiting until Jared Quinn was alone in the office, with no one following him.
Even Simon Sutton was sent out to deliver docunts—it was a perfect opportunity.
"Jared, I brewed so refreshing tea. Would you like to try it?" Sheryl gingerly placed the tea near his left hand.
Jared Quinn closed the file he was holding, tugged on the tie around his neck, his black eyes seed to hide countless alluring stars, glancing at Sheryl Lancaster with scrutiny.
His gaze felt like it could strip away a woman’s clothes, making one involuntarily yield.
No woman could resist such a gaze.
"Jared," Sheryl Lancaster’s face had turned slightly red, she stepped forward, standing before Jared Quinn, her left hand casually sliding from her neck to her chest, hoping to catch his attention.
She wanted him to look at her body.
"Miss Lancaster, are you satisfied with the work these days?" Jared Quinn lit a cigarette, smoked casually as the pale smoke rose from his mouth, accentuating his handso features that grew more captivating.
Sheryl Lancaster was montarily taken aback; she hadn’t expected Jared’s first question to be about work.
After all these days, shouldn’t he have asked about Timmy?
She had already prepared how to respond.
"Hmm?"
"Very, very good," Sheryl Lancaster felt as if she’d been slapped in the face, recalling the pose she’d just made, wishing she could find a hole to hide in.
