"Find them quickly, I want to see those two by tomorrow morning," Harold Chapman shouted angrily.

"Not happy?" Jared Quinn pinched lody Thorne’s cheek with his big hand; her tender skin would leave a red mark upon touch.
"Can’t be happy," lody Thorne moved Jared Quinn’s hand away, "I’m going to the restroom."
She had been fighting Ivy for so long, but she never expected Ivy to escape.
"Sir, we’ve found that person near the hospital, but... but he’s already dead."
"Ha, dead, damn well deserved for daring to betray ," Harold Chapman was still on the verge of exploding; damn, when did this ever happen?
"Alright, deploy more personnel to search, there’s no way they could’ve run far in such a short ti," Jared Quinn’s deep eyes flashed with a hint of killing intent, "Once found, don’t bother bringing them back."
In the past, she saved him, so he didn’t go hard on Ivy, but this doesn’t an she can escape right under his nose.

On the calm sea, a ship was sailing towards the center, and in the small warehouse onboard.
lody Thorne opened her eyes and looked around; she went to the restroom and was suddenly covered from behind. In the mirror, she saw it was Ivy. Although the sedatives weren’t strong enough to make her faint,
she discovered that ever since her rebirth, no form of hypnotism or sedative had any effect on her.
But to confirm who Ivy was in contact with, she pretended to be unconscious and learned how Ivy managed to escape with her. Indeed, soone outside helped her,
but they were foreigners, not locals.
Voices ca from outside the cabin,
"Is the woman inside awake?" a man’s voice asked in broken Mandarin.
"How could she wake up so soon? The sedative won’t let her wake for three days; I guess she’ll be out when we reach the destination."
"Are we just going to watch her sleep in there?" a man leaned against the warehouse door, "I think that woman is quite pretty."
"Slap," another person gave him a slap, "We have so much stuff on the ship that needs watching; don’t forget our purpose."
"Fine, alright," the man replied reluctantly.
"You two go elsewhere; I want to check on the woman inside."
lody Thorne imdiately closed her eyes; it was Ivy’s voice.
"Miss Ivy, go ahead; we’ll guard our own. We won’t interfere with each other." Clearly, these two had no intention of leaving,
Ivy snorted coldly, "I brought the person out, I’m more reliable than you. Alright, I’m just going to have a look, you go take a lap around the sea first, and I’ll leave."
The two glanced at Ivy, "Alright, alright, be quick, I’m telling you, don’t cause trouble."
The two left,
Ivy opened the warehouse door and squinted her eyes maliciously when she saw lody Thorne locked inside. If not for the ti shortage last night, she would have slashed lody Thorne’s face and handed her to these people.
