Sheryl Lancaster was suddenly stopped, looking puzzled. The butler had called her to co to the Quinn Family’s place, which made her happy for a while, but where did this woman co from?
"Who are you?" Because it was the Quinn Family, Sheryl thought she was a guest here, so she spoke politely.
"I am..."
"She’s a guest here, you should entertain her well. Jared Quinn is busy," lody Thorne had already poked half her head out from the sofa and spoke righteously.
Sheryl Lancaster was the company’s secretary, and it was best for her to handle this.
And Jared Quinn was indeed busy, busy reading the newspaper.
Although Sheryl Lancaster was a bit displeased to hear this, she was indeed the secretary now.
Last night, after she t with Ivy, she was convinced that Timmy’s matter was true, so she had to be more careful.
"Have a seat, have a seat," Sheryl Lancaster said with a smile.
Her actions didn’t seem the sa in Rochelle Thorne’s eyes; she thought Sheryl was showing off her position.
"Sit? I’ll sit whenever I want here, do you need to invite ?"
"What do you an?" Sheryl’s face turned sowhat unpleasant.
"Don’t worry about what I an, I’m just not letting you in today," Rochelle Thorne pushed Sheryl out.
The two won exchanged words and almost got into a fight.
"Sorry, sorry, we’ll leave for now," Mrs. Thorne hurriedly stood up and pulled Rochelle Thorne at the door, "Alright, alright, Rochelle, let’s just go, let’s go."
"I’m not leaving, not leaving. The matter hasn’t been cleared up yet."
"Let’s go, we can talk about it another day," Mrs. Thorne forcefully pulled Rochelle Thorne away from the Quinn Family.
After everyone left, Sheryl adjusted her expression and walked into the hall.
"Miss Lancaster," the butler held so docunts, "These were approved by the young master last night, already signed. Please take them to the company."
"Alright," Sheryl forced a smile, "I’ll take them when I go back. Didn’t Mr. Quinn call here for sothing else?"
The butler glanced at lody Thorne, who had already turned her back, making it clear that Sheryl could leave.
"No, no, the young master just wanted you to take these docunts back," the butler stuffed the docunts into Sheryl’s hands. "Send them back to the company as soon as possible, these are needed urgently by Simon Sutton."
Sheryl "...."
Her face turned pale at a visible speed, then white, as if she’d been slapped hard, completely embarrassed.
Caleb on that side was also rcilessly slapping her, and so was this side.
Sheryl left the Quinn Villa and drove to a place. Three nights ago, she felt sothing was off there.
Especially the sentence Ivy told her, to leave quickly, or Jared Quinn would find out about her.
At the hospital entrance, Sheryl didn’t get out of the car but sat inside looking in, not daring to go in easily.
"Did you hear? Three days ago, soone said that crazy woman jumped to her death in the sea."
"Serves her right, she almost got us involved."
"Ran off then let her run off, saves us from having to keep an eye on an already crazy woman all day."
"Heh, that’s right. With the dark night and wind yesterday, on top of the sea, who knows where her soul has floated off to."
"Hey, watch what you say, it’s dayti. Can you say sothing nice? Stop talking about ghost stuff, it’s not like she died because of you."
"Let’s go, let’s go, let’s play cards, this matter is over, don’t ntion it anymore."
