"Ma’am, we should lock this woman up for now," Dr. Mo kept his eyes on lody Thorne. She had just finished a blood transfusion, and he was worried she might suddenly faint.
"Yes, ma’am, leave this woman to for now. You should rest first; there’s no rush to deal with her,"
"You... what do you want to do? I’ve said it before, she’s falsely accusing , she’s really falsely accusing . If you treat like this, when Jared returns, he won’t let you off!"
"Take her away," Harold Chapman instructed the two soldiers behind him.
"Yes, sir."
Sheryl Lancaster was taken away. lody Thorne was already struggling to hold on, and after returning to the hospital room, she lay down on the bed and fell asleep.
It wasn’t until the next morning that Jared Quinn could be reached. Dr. Mo had already explained everything to him in detail. Even through the screen, Dr. Mo could feel the murderous aura emanating from Jared Quinn.
He had just been released for three days, only to find out that his wife and child had been sched against by others.
"Is it confird that it’s that woman behind all this?" Jared Quinn’s handso face was filled with ominous intent.
"Yes, it’s basically confird. That woman not only kidnapped the young madam, she also deliberately summoned the dia and reporters to the scene."
The intention was clear.
"Annihilate the Lancaster Family," Jared Quinn’s cold and chilling voice ca through the screen, a single sentence sealing the fate of an entire group.
"What about that woman?" Dr. Mo asked.
He had a rough idea of what Jared Quinn would do; if Sheryl Lancaster couldn’t be managed here, then what awaited her after the downfall of the Lancaster Family was a desolate island.
After all, she was given a chance to behave, but she didn’t appreciate it.
"You should know what to do," Jared Quinn sneered.
Dr. Mo touched his nose, turned around, and glanced at the hospital room behind him. Inside, lody Thorne was just waking up, still wearing the hospital gown from last night.
"Hand her the phone," Jared Quinn’s voice ca through again.
Dr. Mo walked in and held the phone out to lody Thorne, "Ma’am, a call from Mr. Quinn."
lody Thorne turned over, not wanting to take Jared Quinn’s call. She had already explained that she hated him, and despite all the calls she made out of concern for his safety, he didn’t answer, nor did he reply to her texts.
Why should she answer when he finally calls?
Dr. Mo..."
His hand hung awkwardly in midair.
Jared Quinn’s gaze had already swept lody Thorne from head to toe in the arc of Dr. Mo’s outstretched hand. He could clearly see the bruises on her wrists from being tied up.
Other areas were hidden under the hospital gown, so he couldn’t see, but her small face had the smooth, white skin of lamb jade, marked with a hint of frailty.
Such a delicate her, Jared Quinn truly wanted to return to her side imdiately, to hold her, to cherish her...
"Call the female nurse over for a full-body examination,"
Dr. Mo, "Okay."
"I don’t need an examination, I have no injuries," lody Thorne said as Jared Quinn had already hung up the call.
Yet Dr. Mo, ever obedient to Jared Quinn’s orders, promptly called two nurses to examine lody Thorne.
They were thorough in their examination. lody Thorne’s clothes were cast aside, and her body, devoid of any cover, revealed all her wounds, clear as day.
