And that woman actually had the nerve to deceive him.
Jared Quinn noticed a hint of resentnt in the woman in his arms, and couldn’t help but let the corners of his thin lips curl up slightly. Patiently, like explaining to his wife, he said, "I didn’t see her body, only her belly."
"Do you think I’m blind and didn’t see?" lody Thorne was clearly skeptical. "She took off all her clothes, and you’re telling you didn’t see anything?"
Jared slightly furrowed his handso brows, puzzled, "She took them all off?"
lody Thorne: "..."
She simply couldn’t believe Jared saw nothing at all, and let out a cold sneer. "A cheating man will never admit he cheated."
Jared’s big hands reached from behind her to in front, giving her little nose a playful pinch as a subtle punishnt. His gaze on her body was sowhat heated, and he said in a low voice, "I only have eyes for you."
lody’s ears quickly reddened as she pulled the blanket up over her body, afraid he’d try sothing again. To change the subject, she asked, "Now that you’re sure it’s not Sheryl Lancaster, will you still go looking for that woman?"
As she asked, lody’s small hands hiding under the blankets kept twisting the fabric.
"I won’t," Jared replied. This ti coming back, he was already planning to make their relationship public. To prevent anyone from using Timmy’s matter against them again, he decided to link Timmy’s lineage to lody Thorne, revealing to everyone that lody Thorne was Timmy’s biological mother.
Would he just stop looking? lody bit down on her milk-white lip.
After a mont of silence, she seriously lifted her head and looked at the man towering above her, "Would you believe if I said I’m Timmy’s biological mother?"
Jared’s eyes swiftly locked onto lody’s small face, his sharp gaze sweeping over her eyes, nose, and lips.
lody’s heart tensed up. Just as she was about to say sothing to muddle through, she heard a light mocking sound from above her, "Why don’t you take a mirror and see if there’s any resemblance between you and Timmy?"
lody’s chest felt like it took a piercing hit; Jared’s words were brutally to the point.
Her eyes were big and round, very clear and lively. Her nose wasn’t high-bridged but it was delicate, and her lips were small,
While Timmy resembled Jared, with long, slender phoenix eyes, a typically high nose bridge, and thin, cold lips. Even the face shape was exactly like Jared’s, a near spitting image,
Completely different from her. If she took Timmy out, no one would likely say they were mother and son.
lody grabbed Jared’s sleeve, lifted her small face seriously, "I’m really Timmy’s biological mother."
Jared looked at her as if her brain were fried, but he knew she genuinely loved Timmy, more than any other woman could. She’s saved Timmy countless tis, so it wouldn’t be far-fetched if she were his real mother.
Once they made their relationship public, she’d be recognized as Timmy’s mother.
"Yes, you truly are," Jared replied, casually patting her head.
lody furrowed her attractive brows, "You don’t believe ?"
It had been hard for her to decide to tell him the truth, and every word she said was indeed the truth.
