"I’m not afraid," lody Thorne struggled to break free,
she had never been afraid of Jared Quinn, but she feared for the people around her getting hurt.

the man who was just downstairs had already co up, and his tall, erect figure stood outside the door at this mont.
lody Thorne took two steps back, and Jared Quinn had already grabbed one of her arms, ready to turn her around and leave.
"lody," Hans Montrose grabbed her other arm.
"Jared Quinn, let go of ," lody Thorne’s first reaction was to break free from Jared Quinn’s grip and step back.
Jared Quinn’s palm was left empty, his resolute jaw tense to the extre, casting a sidelong glance at her, "Are you leaving or not?"
lody Thorne stared at him, feeling so sadness. She thought they could start over, but he was still the sa as before, unchanged and domineering,
"Let Caleb and the others go, and I’ll go back with you."
Jared Quinn’s deep eyes fixed on her, with a sheen as if a raging fire burned within them.
Once again, she used herself as a bargaining chip for others.
The hand hanging by her side gradually clenched, her thin lips pressed into a blade-like line, "I’m giving you one last chance, are you coming or not?"
lody Thorne turned around, "You know exactly what I want. Do it and then ask if I’m coming or not."
The anger in Jared Quinn’s eyes flared and extinguished repeatedly, veins faintly visible on his arm, as he turned his gaze sharply toward Hans Montrose!
"You can’t grab him!" lody Thorne quickly stepped between the two n.
But while she could block the bodies of both n, she couldn’t block their clashing gazes.
Her actions deeply irritated Jared Quinn. Even in her dreams, she longed for Hans Montrose.
Turning away, Jared Quinn withdrew his gaze and walked downstairs.
"Don’t bother looking," Hans Montrose’s large hand shielded her eyes, "He kidnapped your friends and doesn’t even respect you. Why bother looking at him?"
Hans Montrose said this with absolute self-interest; even after years had passed since he returned, he couldn’t help it.
As long as she turned her head, he was there.
"No, I was just thinking if Jared Quinn would release Caleb and Stella Seymour," lody Thorne lowered her eyes, hiding the pain surging within them.
Jared Quinn indeed didn’t understand how to respect her.
"Stella Seymour?" Hans Montrose stood by her side, his alluring eyes reflecting deep aning, "Are you friends with her?"
"Do you know her?"
"No," Hans Montrose quickly denied.
lody Thorne took out her phone and called Nina King to help her find a place near the company. She wouldn’t return to the Quinn Family until Jared Quinn released Caleb and the others.

The butler had just hung up the phone and saw the man returning outside, exuding a cold aura.
"Young Master," the butler put down the phone and hurried over, his gaze landing behind Jared Quinn, "Didn’t the young madam co back?"
Jared Quinn’s gaze swept over, carrying a heavy warning. It was clear that he didn’t want anyone to ntion lody Thorne at this mont.
The butler usually had the proper deanor, but at tis, he could be cheeky and insolent.
"Earlier, the master said today is the young madam’s birthday. He ntioned that she has never celebrated her birthday since marrying into the Quinn Family and suggested you prepare sothing for her, as compensation."
