Those eyes seed to have a thousand lights, yet to Jared Quinn, they were both tender and charming. He opened his mouth and devoured the noodles she fed him, bite by bite.
After all, such benefits don’t co every day.
"Is it good?" lody Thorne lifted the corners of her lips. In fact, she had just added a few pieces of green vegetables, making it a simple vegetable noodle soup.
"Mm." Jared Quinn finished the entire bowl of noodles,
lody Thorne went to the kitchen again and ate so herself.
When she ca out, Jared Quinn was still staring at her, afraid she would flip the switch and get angry with him again any second.
"Are you trying to stare a hole through ?" lody Thorne frowned as she walked over, waving her hand in front of Jared Quinn.
Has he gone silly? Did his brain get damaged in the fall?
Jared Quinn grabbed her flailing little hand, his gaze burning, "Aren’t there already holes on your body worth staring at?"
lody Thorne’s face flushed instantly, as if she were boiling. "Jared Quinn, can you not be so beastly?"
He says whatever cos to mind right in front of her!
"This isn’t beastly." Jared Quinn locked her hand, pulled her by the back of the head, and let her lips et his in a kiss...
lody Thorne was wary of pressing against his injured spots, so she kept her body propped up, but Jared Quinn kept pulling her down, deepening the kiss, his lips enveloping hers as if swallowing jelly, making her breathless...
Only after lody Thorne was left breathless and nestled in his embrace, Jared Quinn held her contentedly, his hands wandering but unsatisfied.
He still wanted more.
"Let go, Jared Quinn," lody Thorne’s hand pressed against Jared Quinn’s chest, her voice soft.
Jared Quinn pushed her away, his dark phoenix eyes smoldering with a controlled fire... gazing at her intently, "Unwilling?"
"Can’t you just recover properly?" lody Thorne stepped back a few paces, sowhat annoyed, "At this rate, when will your injuries heal?"
"You’re unwilling to take care of ?" Jared Quinn’s low voice sounded sowhat gloomy.
In his eyes, lody Thorne seed to want him to recover quickly, then leave.
"Behave, and I’ll take care of you," lody Thorne stood a few steps away, her porcelain-like face blushing rosy red.
Jared Quinn suppressed the restlessness inside him, shutting his eyes tightly for a mont, then extended his big hand, "Co here, I promise I won’t move."

Eventually impatient, Jared Quinn tossed off the blanket covering him, his legs already hanging off the edge of the bed.
"Jared Quinn, I’ve told you, don’t move around!" lody Thorne imdiately leapt over, holding onto his arm, afraid he might suddenly fall.
Her nervous expression made Jared Quinn furrow his brows slightly. What exactly had Doctor Mo told her? That he was disabled? Incapable of movent?
Jared Quinn’s hand naturally landed on her shoulder, his breath next to her ear, "To the bathroom."
lody Thorne’s brain stalled for a few seconds, then she raised her head, "I’ll call the doctor over."
"lody Thorne," Jared Quinn’s big hand tightened, gritting his teeth, "Just you."
Hadn’t she already seen everything? Why feel shy now?
With a flushed face, lody Thorne supported him to the bathroom, where her startled exclamations occasionally echoed. Calling him a beast and a rogue, she said it all, and once in the bathroom, he wanted to shower, needing help with everything.
Worried he might get wet, lody Thorne grabbed a towel to wipe his body, carefully avoiding the many wounds.
