A single kiss was clearly not enough, Jared Quinn hooked her chin with his large hand and continued to kiss her.
The kitchen door was open, and the scene inside was clearly visible, the butler’s old face was blushing.
He had intended to capture so loving monts of his young master and the lady, but who could have thought that the scene inside was... was this intense.
They were cooking, yet the two of them ended up kissing. At his age, he felt so overwheld, he guessed that the old master would have a heart attack if he saw this.
The more they kissed, the more they couldn’t help themselves, while from the pot in front of them ca a burnt sll, getting stronger and stronger.
"It’s burnt... it’s burnt," lody Thorne said, sowhat irritably pushing away the man nestled in her neck, trying to save the shrimp dish.
As a result... it was all charred black, clearly inedible, even the pot was burnt black.
Jared Quinn’s brow twitched. He originally wanted to showcase his masculine charm by cooking in front of her, yet completely failed...
"Take a rest first, we’ll eat later," Jared said, his handso features stiff to the extre.
Undefeated on the battlefield, he was completely defeated in the kitchen.
Covered in burnt odors, lody Thorne took a shower, yawned, and gradually fell asleep on the large European-style bed.
Once she was asleep, Jared Quinn went downstairs again. Entering the kitchen, the ss had already been cleaned up.
Once again, he took out lody Thorne’s favorite crystal shrimp and started battling.
Completely engulfed in the kitchen’s aroma.
Even after finishing the last plate, Jared was still unsatisfied with the taste, dumping it into the trash once again...
The butler dared not disturb the entire ti, watching the man inside with a bewildered expression, not afraid of his ruthless nature, but rather that he couldn’t get over a plate of shrimp, doing it over and over for dozens of tis wasn’t just for fun.
Until midnight, Jared Quinn returned to the bedroom, having perfected the shrimp dish that lody Thorne loved.

lody Thorne was awakened by the sound of a phone call. By the bedroom window, Jared was wearing a navy silk robe, talking on the phone. Whatever was said seed to anger Jared, drawing his already stern brows even tighter.
Gently getting out of bed, lody ran over, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind.
The cold aura around Jared dissipated significantly, even his tightly knitted brows relaxed, coming back to his senses, he pressed her head against his chest, his large hand caressing her hair while still talking on the phone.
It seed to be Simon Sutton on the line. Jared Quinn hadn’t been to the company for nearly two weeks, and although he had kept up with all the paperwork, the CEO’s office at this massive company, which pretty much monopolized the entire economic lifeline here, was left unoccupied, naturally causing the shareholders to feel anxious.
"Alright, I’ll head over later," Jared Quinn ended the call, his gaze falling on her bare little feet curled up on the floor, furrowing his brows slightly, he picked her up, striding towards the bed.
Squatting down his tall and handso fra, his large hand grabbed her feet, slipping on her slippers, "Next ti, don’t be barefoot, got it?"
lody Thorne, not fully awake, nodded slightly with sleepy eyes, as if she heard him yet didn’t.
