"Dad!" Finn Thorne hurried forward.
Levin Thorne held his head in his hands, painfully avoiding Finn’s touch. "I told you, I don’t know you, I don’t know!"
"Finn, take Dad upstairs for a shower and a change of clothes. I’ve already called Leon Rivers to co over," lody Thorne stepped into the living room, her gaze landing on Mrs. Thorne without saying much, as she sat on the sofa waiting.
Rochelle Thorne kept staring at Levin Thorne, her face hard to look at. Is this her father? A beggar?
When she acknowledged Mrs. Thorne, no one had told her that Levin Thorne was a beggar. Wasn’t he supposed to be dead? How is he appearing now? And still as her dad?
What the hell, she already has a godfather, how could she acknowledge such a beggar as her father!
"Don’t go upstairs," Rochelle blocked Finn Thorne, "This is my mom’s house, did my mom say he could co in?"
Mrs. Thorne, being nad, stood up awkwardly and looked around at the people in the room.
Levin Thorne held his head and when his gaze t Mrs. Thorne’s, the sadness and fear in his eyes were clear. He stared at her blankly, "You’re... not dead?"
Mrs. Thorne trembled slightly but didn’t recognize the man in front of her or know who he was, only that her chest hurt.
"Finn," lody turned her head, "take Dad upstairs."
"Got it, sis," Finn took Levin Thorne upstairs for a shower and a change of clothes.
"Wait, wait, wait, who allowed you up there?" Rochelle scread, "This is my house, my house."
"Your house?" lody looked at her amusedly, "You don’t even recognize your father, do you really have the right to call this your house? Even if you can live here, you need the approval of the person who ca in just now."
"No, no, I don’t have such a father," Rochelle showed disdain all over her face, "what’s the difference between this dad and soone who picks trash off the streets?"
"You don’t recognize him, huh?" lody leaned back on the sofa, "Well, just as well since he would probably feel ashad to have a daughter like you."
"Since she doesn’t want to be part of the Thorne Family, then throw her out," lody pointed to the two bodyguards standing in the living room, "now, imdiately."
"Mom!" Rochelle’s face changed in fright as she imdiately ran to Mrs. Thorne’s side.
"Throw her out," lody spoke again.
The two bodyguards grabbed Rochelle and pulled her outside.
"Miss Thorne," Mrs. Thorne saw Rochelle being pulled out and wanted to go save her, "Rochelle is just being immature, she hasn’t seen that man before and just can’t accept it yet."
"Oh, really? If the person who ca in just now were rich, would she have accepted him right away?" lody’s expression remained cold, "Besides, Mom, you would never use ’that man’ to refer to Dad in the past."
"I... I," Mrs. Thorne’s gaze dodged, her head hurt faintly, "I can’t rember."
She only knew Rochelle was her daughter.
"Dad, Dad," Finn’s voice ca hysterically from upstairs, "Sis, co up quickly."
Jared Quinn hadn’t had ti to stop lody before she ran upstairs. Inside the room ca sounds of things being smashed and soone going crazy.
"Give the drugs, drugs... give the drugs," Levin Thorne had been using that stuff for days, his attacks ca faster than ordinary people, and were even more maniacal.
"Dad," Finn tried to control Levin Thorne.
But when people go crazy, killing feels justifiable.
Breaking free from Finn, Levin Thorne uncontrollably ran into the wall.
"Dad!" lody wanted to go over, but Jared Quinn had already arrived, wrapping his large arms around her, "Stay calm."
