Jared’s gaze shot at them coldly, like a sharp knife slicing the air in two, and the temperature seed to drop instantly, causing a collective gasp.
Those people were genuinely afraid of Jared, especially when he was in a bad mood—he wouldn’t spare anyone.
Just as a man’s expression was about to burst, a small pair of hands pressed against his chest, soothing his agitation. "Darling, don’t get angry, don’t get angry. Didn’t I say I’d smack so people’s faces? Let’s start in a bit."
Her voice was quite low, the elderly shareholders seed to hear sothing, not sure if they heard the words "dog face."

On the stage, a very conspicuous banner indicated that Luna Lancaster was about to reveal the truth about whether lody Thorne committed the murder.
The old shareholders exchanged glances and no one dared to speak up again, each hanging their heads.
As shrewd as they are, they couldn’t miss the fact that for lody Thorne to show them a live broadcast ant she was confident.
Jared retracted his gaze, indulgently ruffling her hair, his deep, srizing eyes like obsidian.
