"Prepare the plane imdiately." Jared Quinn stood up and was about to stride out when he caught sight of a small figure trying to hide.
Jared Quinn walked over quickly and grabbed Timmy, who was wearing his backpack, attempting to escape. His handso face was dark as ink. "Where are you going?"
Being discovered, Timmy decided not to pretend. "I heard it. lody has left. I want to go to Crestfall. I want to find her!"
"She doesn’t need you to find her." Jared Quinn handed Timmy over to the butler. "Keep an eye on him."
"Yes."
"I want to go too. I want to find her!" Timmy struggled, his eyes turning red.
"Young Master, madam will be back in a couple of days. Don’t worry. If you go, Master will have to look after you. He might find it hard to manage everything. Better to wait at ho."
"Wait for what? She likely won’t co back ever again."
"No, no. Even if she doesn’t return, Master will bring her back."
"Let down." Timmy stared at the door and spoke.
"Then, Young Master, you..."
"I’ll wait at ho." Timmy turned and headed upstairs.
Did they really think they could stop him by keeping him from going? No way!
Seymour Family.
lody Thorne stepped out of the airport. The plane had landed directly in the vast parking lot of the Seymour Family. Before her was a magnificent European-style building, with rows of security guards dressed in matching uniforms standing in line.
Caleb escorted her inside. An elderly man, dressed in black, sat at the head of the hall, his cloudy eyes gleaming sharply as they landed on her. The black dragon-headed cane in his hand exuded an intimidating aura.
In the corners of the hall, there were two n seated, with several young people behind them.
All eyes were on lody Thorne, sizing her up.
"Is no one going to say anything?" lody Thorne stood in the hall, her innocent eyes sweeping from the left to the right before landing on the elderly man with white-streaked hair.
Though aged, he couldn’t conceal the commanding aura surrounding him, the ruler of the Seymour Family.
"Is this how you greet your grandfather?" One man couldn’t help but admonish.
lody Thorne looked towards him amusedly. According to Caleb, she had four uncles, and this one must be one of them.
"If you want to respect you now, you should first learn to respect . Is kidnapping soone and bringing them here the way of the Seymour Family?"
"Impudent! Who are you to comnt on the ways of the Seymour Family?" Fourth Uncle couldn’t hold back anymore, stood up and tried to intimidate – this girl obviously didn’t know her place!
lody Thorne raised her head and scoffed disdainfully, "If I’m not supposed to comnt, why bring back?"
She never agreed to return!
"You... how dare you!" Fourth Uncle was visibly annoyed. Who would dare speak to him this way?
"Miss," Caleb reminded her. Regardless of their stature, each person here held significant influence in Crestfall and had a vested interest in securing their offspring’s power in the Seymour Family. Now wasn’t the ti to provoke them.
"Shut up!" lody Thorne turned her head sharply. Caleb was the source of her anger.
"Oh, lody Thorne, didn’t you say you didn’t want to co back? So why are you here now?" Stella Seymour entered with Rhys and mocked her.
lody Thorne responded with a faint smile, "Being here is far more entertaining than soone who loses at everything."
"lody Thorne, you..." Stella Seymour glared at her, warning her not to reveal the humiliating incident that occurred earlier.
