Upon hearing the word "bed photos," a cold gleam flashed in Jared’s eyes. "What bed photos?"
Ivy noticed Jared’s changed expression and knew he must be angry. She felt a surge of secret delight but dared not show it. Pretending to be fearful, she stamred, "Just a few posted online. Everyone has seen them. I thought you had seen them too."
"Bring it over," Jared extended one large hand.
As Jared’s body was half-floating on the water, Ivy glanced down and caught sight of his firm, well-defined physique, making her blush a little. She quickly handed over her phone and reminded him, "It’s on the internet. That photo is quite a sensation now."
Jared took Ivy’s elegantly designed red phone and opened it, scrolling through the online news one by one. The more he read, the darker his eyes beca.
Ivy was filled with excitent, believing that those photos would surely lead to lody being kicked out of the Quinn Family.
By the ti Jared’s eyes reached the last page, they were as dark as could be. He threw Ivy’s phone back at her. "Is this what you wanted to show ?"
"Ah," Ivy was montarily stunned. Jared’s tall figure had already stepped onto the shore, his gaze falling on Ivy’s shoulder, where a dark scar stood out. His lips tightened into a straight line. "In the future, don’t co in without the butler’s permission!"
"Jared!" Ivy scread in surprise. Since that incident ten years ago, Jared had never spoken to her so harshly. Why did he do it today?
She watched helplessly as Jared’s figure grew more distant until it disappeared into the villa. Her slender nails nearly dug into her flesh as she lowered her head to look at her phone, its screen still glowing.
But the photo on it...
"Ah!" Ivy let out a desperate scream. It was her photos on the screen, not just one, but several more had appeared. Each more revealing than the last. Though taken through a window, and her face wasn’t clearly visible, it was obvious at a glance they weren’t of lody Thorne.
Who was helping lody Thorne from behind the scenes?
In the bedroom, lody had already changed into pajamas and fallen asleep. However, at the window, a man couldn’t sleep, chain-smoking one cigarette after another.
Jared had never felt this way before. lody used to be like an unmoving block of wood. Now, she had a soul, charming yet cunning. But he had the feeling she was slipping away, and he couldn’t even catch her fox-like tail.
But why did he want to catch her fox-like tail? Just because of their encounter at the pool that day?

All the servants and the butler had already arrived, and Jared had already left. anwhile, she had slept exceptionally well last night, especially relishing the feeling of having a big bed to herself.
lody opened her computer, and the overwhelming news targeted at The Adler Family filled the screen. However, many of the ssages had been suppressed, and the family had even found a scapegoat with a similar face to Ivy’s.
"Want to do sothing fun?" Caleb’s intimidating avatar suddenly lit up.
"Are we that close?" lody raised an eyebrow. She knew he wasn’t a fool, just well-hidden. They weren’t at the stage where they could casually hang out, were they?
Besides, she always needed to be more cautious when dealing with him.
