Her words changed the expressions of everyone at the scene, especially the people from the Seymour Family who ca along; this was simply leaving them no room at all. The union of the Seymour and Quinn families ant that lody Thorne would surely be the sole heir of the Seymour Family.
"Whether or not to unite is my decision, not yours to decide," the old man gripped his cane tightly, the veins showing through faintly, "You must co back with imdiately and marry Hans Montrose."
lody Thorne glared at the old man, then suddenly laughed. She looked at Hans Montrose, who was standing behind him, curling her lips mischievously, her finger pointing in his direction, "It’s not impossible for to marry you."
The glow in Hans Montrose’s eyes instantly brightened as he looked at her.
"lody," Jared Quinn’s face darkened, grabbing her arm. "Don’t talk nonsense."
"Let finish," lody Thorne looked up, smiling at him. "Actually, I have sothing else that I’ve kept from you. Well, it’s not so much that I kept it from you. I did tell you, but you didn’t believe what I said to be true."
"What is it?" Jared Quinn narrowed his eyes at her.
lody Thorne didn’t answer him imdiately but looked in Hans Montrose’s direction, speaking word by word, "You should know that Harold Chapman and I have a child, right? I an, everyone who knows of my marriage to Harold Chapman knows we have a child."
"He’s not your biological child," Hans Montrose looked at her. "If you see Timmy as your biological child, I can accept him too."
Old Man Seymour had also heard about this matter, so it wasn’t surprising.
"Not my biological child? Who told you he’s not my biological child?" lody Thorne laughed fiercely and confidently, "I’ll tell you all right now that Timmy is indeed my biological child."
After speaking, no one was tense, just thinking it was an excuse by lody Thorne to avoid marrying Hans Montrose. Even Jared Quinn thought the sa.
"None of you believe it, right?" lody Thorne confidently smiled, lifting the clothing on her stomach to reveal a scar that had almost healed and was about to disappear. "This was left back then. Jared Quinn urgently needed a child, so we had one."
Everyone still seed unbelieving.
"lody, this excuse doesn’t suit you," Hans Montrose spoke.
She had said it twice now, yet Jared Quinn still didn’t believe because he didn’t think fate would treat him so well—that he urgently needed a child, and the mother of that child would be the woman he married.
"None of you believe it, right?" lody Thorne curled her lips, "This matter is very simple. I can just do a paternity test with Timmy. It’s that simple."
Her fearless deanor caused the faces of everyone watching the scene to change.
Even Old Man Seymour and Hans Montrose did.
"Grandfather, you’re about to break up a family of three; are you sure you want to do this?"
Her arm was being gripped tighter and tighter because Jared Quinn was also beginning to think the credibility of her words was growing stronger.
"I told you about this," lody Thorne looked up, her eyes innocent and sincere, "Have them bring Timmy over, let them see if it’s true or false, a paternity test can prove it."
Jared Quinn: "..."
Harold Chapman: "..."
"What are you all standing there for? Hurry up!" lody Thorne urged impatiently.
