There’s a sense of foreboding in her chest, did he say sothing wrong?
"I know, I know," Clara quickly steadied herself and spoke, "She ntioned it to us sisters before, we thought she was joking, who knew she was actually pregnant."
"Yes, yes, she did ntion it to us before," Stella also chid in hurriedly.
"I see," the doctor sighed in relief.
"Sis, she’s pregnant again, and Grandpa is now going to pass the Seymour Family’s position to her. She already has such a big child, and now another one. The Seymour Family position might eventually be passed to her own child. Where does that leave us?"
Stella Seymour couldn’t hold back any longer.
"With her current arrogant attitude, and since we don’t get along with her, she might decide to teach us a lesson once she inherits the Seymour Family."
Clara Seymour clenched her hands, her nails pressing into her palms, "We absolutely cannot let her inherit the Seymour Family. But now that Grandpa has accepted her, speaking out will only infuriate him, unless she decides to leave on her own."
"How could she possibly leave here?" Stella spoke, suddenly her eyes lit up, "Sis, if she doesn’t want to leave, we can find a way to make her leave. She seems unwilling to leave, but if we can make her give up on this place, won’t she leave?"
"What good ideas do you have?" Clara turned back, "I know you always have the most ideas, why don’t you think about it."
Clara Seymour wasn’t foolish enough to get involved directly; if she’s found out, it’s over. But she’s cunning, likes to use others, and dispose of them after using them.
"Don’t worry, leave this matter to ." Stella was completely unaware.
Her eyes glead with a venomous light. She already had a plan, a plan that would not only strike lody Thorne but also drive her away, never to return.
"Stella, what do you plan to do?" Clara looked at her.
"What else can I do? Isn’t she pregnant now? Then we should target her child. When the ti cos, she’ll definitely leave this place," Stella replied disdainfully.
These tactics were common in the Seymour Family. For example, the second and third potential successors before weren’t them but older people. Unfortunately, they weren’t smart enough and were manipulated until they left the Seymour Family for good and have never reappeared.
"Stella, you’re getting smarter by the day," Clara lifted the corners of her mouth, her eyes cold. Once they dealt with lody Thorne, Stella would be next!
"Of course," Stella smiled triumphantly.
The cetery.
Aside from tombstones, there were only tombstones. Those buried here were all Seymour Family mbers, with no exceptions.
"Looks like soone still visits after my father passed away," lody Thorne stared at the gravestone in front of her. Maybe others had soone co once a month to clean,
but Howard Seymour’s was spotless, as if soone cleaned it regularly.
"All right, the wind’s picking up. Aren’t you cold? Let’s head back to the car," Jared Quinn glanced at the ti.
He had promised lody Thorne she’d stay here as long as she wanted, and he really ant it—not a minute more.
"Why are you so punctual?" lody Thorne looked up, annoyed.
"You’re two people now," Jared Quinn took off his jacket and draped it over her shoulders,
