Timmy still had a cold expression, but he couldn’t refuse lody Thorne’s words, "You said it. If I miss you and you’re not back, I’ll co to find you."
His eyes glimred with a sly light; after all, he missed her every day.
"Okay," lody Thorne hooked her pinky finger around his.
After discussing, having breakfast, Jared Quinn took Timmy back to the country. Besides doing those unspeakable things to her last night, he didn’t speak to her before leaving.
lody Thorne felt a bit empty in her heart.
"So, what do we do next?" Leon Rivers and Harold Chapman trailed behind her.
lody Thorne’s eyes shimred coldly. The old man could only hold on for two more months. Hans Montrose’s request must be agreed upon. No matter what, she had to see Howard Seymour first. She also wanted to et her biological father.
"Harold, keep looking for them. As for you, Leon, co with ," lody Thorne returned to the room.
Leon Rivers snorted at Harold Chapman, "See? See? In sis-in-law’s eyes, I’m way more important than you. We’re going to discuss a big secret event."
Harold Chapman smacked Leon Rivers’ hand away, "You just wait and see."
Leon Rivers and lody Thorne ca out after staying inside for half an hour. No one knew what they discussed, but Leon Rivers had a thoughtful expression.
"What’s going on?" Harold Chapman asked uneasily.
"Just mind your own business," Leon Rivers didn’t answer and continued walking forward, his face full of deep thought.
Although Harold Chapman was worried, Jared Quinn had told him before leaving to just listen to lody Thorne no matter what happened. Since lody Thorne instructed him to keep looking for people, he could only continue searching diligently.
It wasn’t until night that lody Thorne went out to the place where she had seen Hans Montrose before, and sure enough, she saw him again.
"I didn’t expect you to have a way to make Jared Quinn leave first," Hans Montrose spoke. Originally, his prediction was that lody Thorne’s only plan would be to force Jared Quinn to leave and then find a way to rescue Howard Seymour from his hands. It seed he underestimated her a bit.

When they reached the place, her eyes were covered until she felt she had entered a room.
The black cloth was removed from her eyes, and lody Thorne’s first instinct was to look around, wanting to find Howard Seymour’s figure. But the entire room was decorated in the style she liked, and there was no sign of Howard Seymour at all.
"Where is he?" lody Thorne turned around, her eyes suddenly cold.
"Don’t rush. It’s too late today. Uncle Seymour’s health isn’t great. He’s already resting at this ti. I’ll go inform him you’re here later so he can prepare himself ntally."
"Is he not well?" lody Thorne lowered her eyes.
"It’s nothing serious at the mont; he just rests earlier." Hans Montrose looked at her with complex emotions, his eyes carrying a pleading light, "Don’t hate . Just like before, stay here with for a few days, okay?"
