"Where are we going?" lody Thorne looked up, montarily giving up the idea of having Jared Quinn find her here.
Hans Montrose looked up, holding her hand with one hand while the other was tucked into the pocket of his suit pants.
"Let’s go watch the movie we fild together before."
There was a private cinema with a large screen player.
Just like in a theater, Hans Montrose held the snacks and treats prepared for her. The movie featured Willow Bright, played by lody Thorne, hopelessly in love with the emperor, feeling heartbroken for him, conquering the world for him, giving him everything she had.
Hans Montrose watched that scene with fascination. If it were real life, he would give lody Thorne everything she wanted, even with his life. Unfortunately, her heart would never be with him.
lody Thorne didn’t understand what Hans Montrose was thinking, but she remained calm, eating the popcorn and snacks he held, always watching his reaction from the corner of her eye.
There was always a feeling that there was sothing she didn’t know.
Until the end of the movie, neither of them said a word.
After leaving the cinema, the rest of the day was spent eating the food she liked, besides watching the movie with him.
The feeling Hans Montrose gave her was like he was doing one by one all the things other couples would do together.
In the evening, lody Thorne went to speak with Howard Seymour and chatted for an hour about the Seymour Family matters, making it clear that she would absolutely not inherit the Seymour Family estate.
As she went downstairs to return to the courtyard of the manor where she was staying, lody Thorne noticed that everything inside had been completely transford into a ticulously arranged space, romantic and warm.
Romance was everywhere at the mont. Each willow tree was adorned with lights creating various scenes, and a large two-ter tall crystal glass ball gently played music as the figures inside, fashioned after her and Hans Montrose, embraced and twirled by the roses’ blood-red blooms.
In front of a white piano, Hans Montrose played her favorite song, dressed in a white suit, slowly walking towards her, extending a gentlemanly hand inviting her to dance.
lody Thorne reached out her hand. She and Hans Montrose had danced before, but this ti was different.
The dance lasted a long ti; Hans Montrose’s alluring peach blossom eyes gazed at her lovingly. The most beautiful romance was what she brought to him.
When the music ended, Hans Montrose took the roses handed to him from the attendant and gave them to her, and the deep gaze upon her also drew to a close.
"Hans Montrose, are you hiding sothing from ?" lody Thorne spoke to his back, feeling as though Hans Montrose would move away from her at any mont.
"Do you still care?" Hans Montrose stood with his back to her.
"Even if I don’t care, there must be many who do," lody Thorne wouldn’t say she cared too, like a brother would care.
Hans Montrose gave a self-mocking chuckle and turned to leave.
lody Thorne squinted her eyes, looking at the servant next to her.
That night, just as lody Thorne was about to close her door and sleep, she suddenly heard the sound of a wheelchair. Startled, she imdiately opened the door, seeing Howard Seymour outside her door.
"Dad, weren’t you unable to co out? How did you co out by yourself?"
"lody," Howard Seymour grasped lody Thorne’s arm tightly. "Tell , are you hiding sothing from ?"
