"Really, really, tomorrow morning’s private plane, I might go to the hospital first, and then go ho."
"Why are you going to the hospital?" Timmy furrowed his brows.
"Because an uncle, who is a good friend of mine, is seriously ill. I have to take him to the hospital first."
"A man?" Timmy’s voice suddenly rose. "Will my dad go too?"
"He won’t, he has his own things to do."
"Oh..." Timmy’s voice stretched particularly long.
lody Thorne hung up the phone, Timmy always seed precocious, who knew what he was thinking.
"You rest first," lody Thorne turned back, "if you feel uncomfortable anywhere, tell the doctor."
Hans Montrose didn’t say much; from the start, he just wanted lody Thorne to stay with him.
Morning.
lody Thorne hugged Howard Seymour and the old man, "Grandpa, Dad, I’ll co to see you when I have ti, take care of yourselves."
"Alright, alright, go on, go on," the old man looked elsewhere, unwilling to show his reluctance to let his granddaughter leave. "Caleb, her safety is in your hands, rember our agreent, if anything happens to her, I won’t let you off!"
"Rest assured, sir, no one would dare to do anything to her."
The plane took off from the Seymour Family estate,
Jared Quinn wasn’t on the sa plane; he left after she departed.
Quinn Family.
Timmy had been waiting the whole morning, but lody Thorne still hadn’t returned from the hospital.
"Dad, did you make lody mad again?" Timmy’s first question was to confront Jared Quinn.
"Don’t ntion her," Jared Quinn’s chest still burned with anger, that woman had completely forgotten his existence, her eyes only on Hans Montrose.
Timmy glanced at him, quickly ran upstairs, grabbed his little backpack, and as he ca down, he glanced at his dad with each step, before quickly running out of the Quinn Family ho.
You won’t go; I’ll go. What if she’s taken away by soone else?
Hospital.
Kiki Sutton stood in the hallway, looking at the man inside. If she hadn’t t Ashton Young, maybe Hans Montrose would still be the man she liked, with his gentlemanly deanor. Unfortunately, his eyes have always been on lody Thorne since childhood.
Almost every doctor in the hospital had been consulted, but none offered a possible treatnt.
The confidence lody Thorne had retained was now completely shattered, a subtle pain in her heart.
"Ugh," Kiki Sutton couldn’t hold back anymore and cried into her hands.
"Could you both let spend a quiet month?" Hans Montrose spoke with a bitter smile, "Don’t make leave with such worry."
Kiki Sutton got up, "I don’t believe such a large hospital has no solution at all. What about a blood transfusion? I’m willing to give him all my blood."
"Miss Sutton, the disease has penetrated the bone marrow, changing blood won’t solve it. I suggest you spend more ti with the patient this month," the doctor sighed. "If there were any solution, we wouldn’t hesitate to save him."
lody Thorne and Kiki Sutton left the ward; the air outside was much fresher.
"Do you think I was particularly cruel to Hans Montrose in the past?" lody Thorne leaned against the glass window, the guilt in her chest growing more intense.
Since childhood, she neither ignored nor was unaware of Hans Montrose’s feelings for her, but her eyes saw only Jared Quinn. Even after being hurt by him, she would still fall in love, love the domineering nature that was inherent to him.
