Jared Quinn walked over with an air of calmness, "So what do you want to do?"
"I want you all to take to school together," that was Timmy’s inner voice.
"Alright," Jared Quinn uncharacteristically responded, "We’ll take you after dinner."
"Okay, sounds good," Timmy smiled.
Hospital, in the spacious ward, two young nurses were trembling with fear, Leon Rivers’ gaze was so dark it could almost drip water. If Caleb hadn’t suddenly appeared, Kiki Sutton might have already been rendered mute.
"You say they wanted to add a muting drug to Kiki Sutton’s IV bottle?" lody Thorne stared at the two young nurses, a thought turned increasingly cold.
"Yes, if Caleb hadn’t discovered it, Kiki Sutton probably wouldn’t be able to speak now."
"Who did this?" lody Thorne stared at the two young nurses, her eyes forming a layer of frost, "You should all be locals here? Should have families? Don’t know if once you beco mute yourself, will anyone still treat you as family, or treat you like a dog?"
"Please stop! Don’t say another word," one of the nurses scread, "Please spare us, soone forced us, truly soone forced us."
"Soone forced you? Did your account miraculously grow by millions overnight?" Leon Rivers sneered contemptuously at them. "You better hurry and tell the truth."
"It was... it was Ashton Young who forced us. He said Kiki Sutton is just a bitch. When Kiki was hit by a car, he said she deserved it, that the woman should be silenced, which is why he gave us the drug."
"It’s Ashton Young. Kiki Sutton’s already in this state, why won’t he let her go?" lody Thorne looked out the window, taking deep breaths. But it was Hans Montrose who caused Kiki Sutton to get hit, and now it’s Ashton Young who’s targeting her?
"Sister-in-law, how should we handle these two?" Leon Rivers asked.
"Kick them out of the hospital," lody Thorne turned around, although suspicious of Ashton Young, she did not want to believe it.
In the room next door, Kiki Sutton had no idea what was happening, just sitting there looking a bit dazed.
lody Thorne walked over and sat at the corner of the hospital bed, knowing that telling Kiki Sutton this now would only scare her, but not clearing things up was the greatest harm to her.
"After we left last night, two young nurses tried to put drugs in your IV bottle," lody Thorne watched her expression.
Kiki Sutton looked up, her eyes full of disbelief, then a pain so deep her heart went numb, she curled her lips in self-mockery, "Seems just being alive is already an eyesore to so. I’m not dead, he must be very disappointed."
Thinking about what Hans Montrose said in her ear when she had the accident, Kiki Sutton found it ridiculous, truly laughable.
She once thought she was not worthy of him, he was so gentlemanly, so gentle.
It turns out it wasn’t that she wasn’t worthy of him, but rather he isn’t worthy to be called human!
"Who are you talking about?" lody Thorne stared at her, already having so guesses but unable to believe them, "Could it be..."
"lody," Kiki Sutton suddenly interrupted her, not allowing her to say that na.
"Probably Ashton Young now finds unpleasant. I ssed with him before, so he wants revenge," Kiki Sutton laughed, more heartbreaking than crying.
"Was it really him?" lody Thorne originally wanted to say Hans Montrose, but thinking he wasn’t likely to have acted.
