"Get sothing the Madam likes to eat, I’ll take it to the hotel."
"Okay."
At the hotel, it was lody Thorne who opened the door. Seeing the man standing outside, she let out a cold snort, intending to slam the door shut.
"What’s wrong? Who bullied you?" Jared Quinn used his large hand to block the closing door, his tall figure following her inside, as he looked down at her.
lody Thorne ignored him and walked inside. Last night, she sent him so many ssages, yet he didn’t reply to a single one.
Jared Quinn couldn’t fathom why she was sulking, so he placed the breakfast he brought on the sofa, glanced at the little woman who was angry, and followed her into the bedroom.
"Are you unhappy about us sleeping apart? Hmm?" Jared Quinn wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, burying his head into her neck. He hadn’t slept the whole night, but holding her, he started to feel a wave of drowsiness.
"You’re asking knowingly," lody Thorne snorted. "I sent you so many ssages yesterday, why didn’t you reply?"
"You sent ssages?" Jared Quinn slightly furrowed his handso brows, his large hand reaching into his clothes, only to find that he didn’t know where his phone had gone. "Sorry, I didn’t see them yesterday."
"You just didn’t want to reply to ."
"Why such a big temper?" Jared Quinn took her phone and opened the sent ssages. "Let see what ssages you sent ."
Yesterday, he didn’t take his phone when he went to the wharf.
"You’re not allowed to look."
"I’ve already seen them, be good," Jared Quinn restrained her fidgeting hands and went through the sent ssages one by one. There were over ten ssages sent last night, each asking if he missed her, and later on, angrily calling him a jerk.
"Sorry, the phone died early yesterday, and I had things to deal with." Jared Quinn hugged her as he sat down on the big bed, a hint of drowsiness in his brows.
"Didn’t you sleep well yesterday?" lody Thorne turned around to find Jared Quinn looking a bit fatigued.
"It’s nothing, let’s go have breakfast," Jared Quinn, afraid she was hungry, held her hand and led her out of the living room. The door outside was half-open, it seed that Silas and Howard Seymour had already left.
"Okay, have you eaten?"
"No," Jared Quinn answered honestly.
"Let’s eat together."
Silas and Howard Seymour wouldn’t allow them to stay together for an extended period, and with much to handle, Jared Quinn went back first.
Outside the Thorne Family’s door.
A woman cried out loudly outside, "Mom, Mom, co out, I was wrong, I was really wrong."
lody Thorne accompanied Silas and walked over, her gaze landing on Rochelle Thorne’s face. "Now that you know you’re wrong, what’s the use? When you saw soone wealthy, you called her ’Mom.’ Congratulations, now you can go find another one."
Seeing lody Thorne, Rochelle Thorne wished she could strangle her. Ever since Silas learned that lody Thorne was her real daughter, she took back all the bank cards she previously gave Rochelle, along with those beautiful clothes, leaving her with nothing but the clothes on her back.
"lody, you’re here," Mrs. Thorne ca out without giving Rochelle a glance. "Let’s go inside."
"Mom, Mom," Rochelle Keane cried, grabbing Mrs. Thorne’s arm. "Mom, I realize I was wrong, I shouldn’t have treated you like that before, it was my fault. You can hit or scold , will you forgive ?"
"Rachel Keane, your surna is not Thorne, it’s Keane," Mrs. Thorne said without expression, turning back. "I now recall, you’re not my daughter at all. I don’t even know why you claid , but we have no relation whatsoever."
