She pulled open the drawer and threw out the divorce agreent she had prepared beforehand. "Give this to Jared Quinn when he cos back. Tell him, I, lody Thorne, am not that cheap to be thrown away by him over and over again."
"Ma’am..." the butler wailed, "Please calm down first."
"Timmy, let’s go." lody Thorne reached out her hand.
"Okay." Timmy grabbed lody’s fingers and left without any reluctance.
In an estate, lody Thorne carried her suitcase inside. Howard Seymour had spent twenty million to buy the entire European-style estate and transferred it to her.
"Timmy, co here, quickly, look at what Grandma made for you to eat?" Sila really liked Timmy, who knew how to make people happy at such a young age.
"Okay." Timmy washed his hands and ran over.
lody Thorne entered the bedroom, lay down on the big bed, and closed her eyes to calm herself down.
At the hospital, Leon Rivers stared at the received ssage, his lips twitching slightly. "We’re dood. Dr. Mo said that Jared drove his wife away to avoid hurting her."
This was sothing Harold Chapman had expected. "In Jared’s eyes, there is nothing more important than lody Thorne."
"Brother Harold..." A soft, delicate voice ca from outside. Chloe Sumrs stood there, her eyes filled with a thin mist of worry as she looked at Harold. "Where are you hurt? Does it hurt?"
Her worried and flustered expression caused Leon Rivers to irritably tug at his hospital gown, accidentally pulling off two buttons, his eyes turning cold.
"I’m fine," Harold said indifferently.
"Brother Harold, tell where it hurts, and I’ll rub it for you," Chloe Sumrs said sweetly, her voice giving a tingling sensation to the n.
Leon Rivers, although never expressing his feelings, already had a darkening face and spoke irritably, "He’s got a pain in his balls!"
Chloe Sumrs’ soft face imdiately flushed red. She took a deep breath and opened the chicken soup she brought. "Brother Harold, I heard you were injured, so I cooked this myself. It’s the first ti I cooked for a man."
She ladled out a bowl for Harold, but a large hand reached out from behind her, grabbed the bowl from her, and drank it all at once, not caring if it was hot or how it tasted.
"Leon Rivers!" Chloe Sumrs was so angry she could spit blood. "That was for my brother Harold!"
She spent the whole afternoon making it, only for it to be drunk up entirely!
"He doesn’t like chicken soup!" Leon Rivers put the bowl down, his voice already hoarse from being burned, and the chicken soup Chloe made had a peculiar taste he had never experienced before.
Harold glanced sympathetically at Leon and said, "I really don’t like chicken soup."
"You’re lying; you clearly love chicken soup." Chloe Sumrs’ eyes were misty, as if tiny water droplets would fall, making her look pitiful.
"Right, he’s a bad guy. Let’s not pay attention to him." Leon Rivers bowed his head, his chiseled features faintly smiling. He took Chloe’s arm with one hand and used a napkin to wipe her little face. "No more crying, hm? If brother Harold doesn’t stay with you, brother Leon will."
Harold: "..."
"Quack doctor," Chloe Sumrs lifted her head and scolded Leon Rivers.
Leon Rivers: "...How could I be a quack doctor? Next ti you get sick, co to , and I’ll show you what a genius doctor does."
"Aren’t you the one who doesn’t treat won?"
"You’re the exception." Leon Rivers answered cleanly and sharply, his gaze unconsciously sweeping back and forth over Chloe Sumrs’ body.
